Hotels in Soemon-cho

"The location was excellent - located in the popular Dotonbori area, close to the long shopping street (Shinsaibashi), and very affordable. Buffet breakfast was also very good. Hotel staff very helpful."

"Everything was wonderful, but I have to talk about how absolutely sweet every member of the staff was that we spoke to. It was like coming home each night! Everything was very clean and extremely well kept, and we enjoyed staying in a traditional Japanese-style ryokan during our stay in Osaka. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of Dotonbori, and within an easy half a mile from Namba Station, Kuromon Market, Nippombashi Station, and tons of shopping and tourist attractions. Can’t...

"Staffs are Super Nice ! I Booked 4th time during my Japan Vacation"

"The location of the hotel is close to Dotonbori, it made my whole trip experience even better. The ease of access getting to my room was nice, lobby was always clean."

"If you wish to stay in a neat, clean hotel located in the heart of Dotonbori, stay at Forza. This is our second time staying here and it is a perfect base to not only explore the local area, it is about a brisk 6 minutes walk to Namba Station. Despite the noise outside, the room was very quiet. They also supply water, coffee and an endless supply of room amenities such as razors, wash cloths and skin cream. Will probably return a third time. "

"First time staying at a Toyoko Inn. I’d definitely stay again - lots to love. Included breakfast is great. Also excellent facilities including laundry and luggage storage. Room was quite large too. The only thing I didn’t like was how hard the bed was. Pretty much the only thing keeping it from being 5 stars for me."

"Loved this place. Great onsen with luxurious shower relaxation area. It had electronic massage chairs, free ramen at night and free ice cream during the day. The only downside was the pillows were not so comfortable but the staff, location and everything else was great!"

"This was my first hotel in Japan, and I really enjoyed it. The location is excellent, with easy access to multiple subway lines and within walking distance of major sightseeing spots and shopping areas. Although it’s in Shinsaibashi, the immediate surroundings felt a bit quieter and less crowded than some nearby streets, with a few interesting buildings adding character to the area. The room was quite small but I traveled with a small suitcase so I didn’t even need to use the space under the bed...

"Overall, this hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Osaka. It is conveniently located near the train station, shopping, and Dotonbori. The hotel features friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a great complimentary snack perk."

"The rooms were clean but its the Japanese style sized rooms which was fine because it was just me and my friend staying. But the room was really tight especially with big luggages. Breakfast buffet was amazing tho!"

"Very quiet and clean room. A bit small but I guess that’s how things are in Japan. The location is really spot on as you are close to dotonburi and so close to the metro. I would highly recommend. "

"Exceptional staff, warm welcoming and very helpful. Location is perfect in the heart of the action but quiet at night. Could not have booked better."

"Great hotel in Namba, Osaka, perfect location short walk to everything including station but in quiet location to be away from all the noise. Staff super lovely and very helpful, 100% recommend to stay here, had fab few days"

"The location is very convenient, the nightly ramen/ice cream treats were fun, and the breakfast was more than ample each day! We stayed here with my parents in two rooms for three nights. When our AC malfunctioned on our first night, the staff was very helpful in relocating us. We have visited Japan over 20 times, and found this hotel to be very unique with a lively/fun vibe. If you are used to Western hotel rooms, you will find these very small, with correlating bathrooms...but when in...

"It’s very close to dotonbori. We love facial moisturizer included. Hair curler was available. Room is small but clean"

"Love the location, can’t beat it. As soon as you’re off the elevator, Namba and Dotonbori is right there! If you chose to have the lounge access, it’s open from 2pm to 9:30pm. It technically closes at 10:00pm, but they start shutting everything down by 9:30pm. Free soft drinks, beer, sake, wine and some hards. Pancakes and chips, nuts and cheese. Good to chill after a long day of shopping and touring."

"The location is convenient to go to various spots in Osaka. Shinsaibashi is close to Kyocera Dome and in one of the shopping areas in Osaka. There are a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants. They provide organized check-in system and people working there are all nice and kind. I lost my glasses in my room but they found them and kept until I returned to pick up my checked luggage. I really appreciated it."

"The staff was attentive and always open to help, breakfast was included and it was Japanese oriental style good to start the day."

"Great place to stay in Osaka. Beside the train and bus station. Good breakfast with a view. Spa is a plus. Helpful staff."

"The hotel is located in a best shopping area. It's very clean and the staffs are so friendly. I'll definitely book this hotel again when I come to visit Osaka next time."
