"Returning guests. Short stay, wonderful room, spotlessly clean, friendly staff. Highly recommended for a visit to Lisbon. About 15 mins from the airport, close to the centre. We love this hotel, our favourite in Lisbon amongst stiff competition."
"Hotel relatively close to the airport. City center of Lisbon reachable by taxi or Uber. Excellent breakfast buffet. Omelet freshly made. Great choice of cocktails at the hotel bar. The bartender Daniel gave us the right explanation and prepared the perfect cocktail.
On the negative side: Designated smoking area is not well isolated. Lies next to breakfast room and hotel bar. The cigar and cigarette smoke reached the bar area."
"We stayed at three different hotels during our stay in Portugal and this was by far the best one. Bars and restaurants on the property are fantastic. Staff was super nice and helpful."
"Hotel EXE is a great place to stay in Lisbon, the hotel is convenient to metro, restaurants, and local places. The staff, Filipa, Vitoria, and Ines are true professionals, polite, and knowledgeable about Lisbon, and they are always willing to help. So if you are ever in Lisbon, EXE hotel 8s the place to stay"
"The hotel had a great location for dining. The train station was about a twenty minute walk. Our room was comfortable, quiet and dark with blackout curtains. We did not purchase breakfast, but it looked great. We used the pool and pool bar on the rooftop terrace, and it was a very relaxing experience. The lobby and dining areas were beautiful. The front desk employees were very helpful, friendly and personable- some of the best we’ve encountered. I definitely recommend this hotel."

If you want to give your credit card some exercise, head out to Twin Towers in Lisbon City Center. Our travelers also like this historical area for its riverfront setting. Splash some more cash at El Corte Ingles Mall.
This is a wonderful, well presented property. Mix or modern with nature. Top class service, staff and amenities. A truly relaxing and pleasant experience!
Everyone there was very polite, their food was pretty decent. Even though everyone’s English was very good they were delighted that I spoke some Portuguese to them. Overall very positive stay. My only take away was the construction noise near by and the planes flying overhead.
Very polite and helpful staff hotel and room excellent. Good food in the restaurant. fine choice of food at breakfast. Metro station outside the foyer bus stops nearby. We will use this hotel again when in Lisbon. We had a great week. thank you all!!
If you are looking for a place that is affordable, comfortable, clean and quiet, that is the place. If you need to be in the center of town, where the action never ends and sleep is not a must, then maybe look somewhere else.
I stayed in Portugal for 12 days and by far my favorite spot was Novotel. The room , the staff, the breakfast, the location and ease of transport was fantastic. I only wish I would have stayed there for my entire Lisbon leg of the trip
The hotel is one of the most beautiful places that I ever stayed. Fantastic location, exceptional service throughout Immaculately clean in the middle of old town but still very quiet. I can't wait to return.
We stayed 9 nights in this extraordinary hotel in the heart of Lisbon.
First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar. Also the sleek, elegant Art Deco door handles (that are beautiful but not so easily grasped).
There is a spectacular breakfast every morning, including traditional Portuguese staples like sardines in olive oil...
I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. Every staff member was at our service. The view and location were amazing. It was a very quiet retreat to return to and within walking distance of everything. I am currently in Porto wishing I was back at my beautiful retreat again. Also, the dining area bar for breakfast and snacks very...
Wonderful place! The ming size bed was nice and to US standards. The location is great. And most importanly the staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating!
We absolutely loved the vibe and location. The hotel room was my favorite of our trip around Europe and the staff went over and above to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend and cannot wait to go back one day!
The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was first class. Very polite and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lisbon.
We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon.
Here’s when the service was exceptional. Front desk was friendly; offered us breakfast at 10 euros and a 30% restaurant discount. The bell boy took our luggage up, explained the various room switches, offered to get us extra coffee/tea/water.

I absolutely love this boutique hotel. Location couldn't be better - in vibrant Bairro Alto and very close to train station (Cais do Sodre) and walking distance to many sights and great restaurants. Top class service and the attention to detail is second to none. Nuno at the front desk went beyond his duty - make sure to ask him for any tips on the best wines to buy (and where), restaurant reservations, airline check-in, etc. etc. Rooftop is not to be missed and breakfast is excellent (don't...
