Hotel and staff are nice. The only quirk is that it requires taking two separate elevators in different parts of the building to get to your room, but no huge deal. Staff and amenities are nice. Breakfast is amazing and definitely worth the added cost. My wife got pregnant here, so 10/10 recommended the bed.

Fantastic location. safe area very close to Plaza de Espanya and access to all of Madrid via the metro or just walking. We will stay here again next time we are in madrid

The Wellington Hotel is very well located and it is truly a 5 star hotel. The service is impeccable, with great amenities, nightly turndown service, and an excellent executive lounge. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The restaurants in he hotel are great, including a michelin starred restaurant.

I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. I uber most of the time and cost varies depending on time of the day but with a big increment for busy hours, the room was comfortable and quiet we had street view. Later in my stay i discovered that the metro stationPlaza Castilla, was in walking distance from there but I can’t say much because did not ride the it. There are few options...

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and absolutely loved it! Although it's located on a busy street, our room was very quiet thanks to the noise-cancelling windows and electric shutters. Both the room and bathroom were spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed, including shaving and dental kits, shower caps, and a variety of cute little bottles of toiletries. A nice contemporary boutique hotel in an area which has a very convenient location . The rooms are large and very clean and the staff is exceptional. Any request was immediately followed up on and several times offered assistance without a prior request. I prefer this over many 4-5 star hotels I have been to. It is in my opinion a 5 star minus the full restaurant, pool gym and bar (The roof top bar is closed during the winter).

The hotel is in a relatively new building compared to similarly priced alternatives, and it shows. The room is modern, breakfast is excellent, it's literally a two-minute walk to Plaza de Espana, where the main Gran Via begins. The Royal palace is also nearby. Good deal!

It's a really nice hotel, with all the amenities. The property is in excellent condition, and the rooms are extremely well-equipped. It's close to everything you'd want for a short stay in Madrid. It's also close to many amenities, such as restaurants, shops, metro stations, and the Palacio Real. PS: Great breakfast! ;)

Excellent location within walking distance of the more significant sights such as the Royal Palace and Prado museum.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it was all we hoped for. Reasonable price in a quite area close to the main parts of Madrid. The breakfast each morning was outstanding and the room plus common areas were extremely clean. There is a really nice park about 2 blocks to the west. I liked that you could not hear cars or people on the street below, which can be a common problem in big European cities. Hotel staff was very nice. Would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Madrid.

Hotel is amazing! Location, all renewed (hotel and room), spacious room, parking lot on-site($21), nice reception service, open 24h!!! Plus: great social area for coffee and work over the reception. Two negative points: # I tried to manage the room temperature from the room and it did not work. It is December so it is not a problem but maybe it would be an issue if it was summer. # there was some hair on the floor and in the bathroom sink, shower.. I believe cleaning could be improved.

Este hotel es espectacular. Muy limpio, cómodo y acogedor. Localizado en una zona muy bella de Madrid, cerca de tiendas, restaurantes y todo lo que hace falta para sentirse a gusto. Los empleados son demasiado amables y profesionales. El hotel cuenta con una barra en el primer piso y restaurante ( donde la comida es deliciosa). Lo recomiendo a cualquier persona que desee conocer a Madrid, explorar su belleza y sentirse en total comodidad.
