Great owners that take pride in their property - nicely renovated and super comfy bed. Nearby Encinitas and Carlsbad beaches with a nice parking lot that is free for guests. Amazing value near the main downtown section of Encinitas. Many food delivery options and the hotel is great at having the delivery driver come to your room to drop off.

Stuff is very accommodating and truly cares about you. Location is 5 min away from a very nice beach.

Great location with good parking. I enjoyed the walk to Beacon Park and Grandview beach access points. (Both have long steep descents; people with mobility challenges may need to drive to get to easier access.) Nice clean room with kitchenette. Friendly staff.

The place was great. We stayed for 6 nights. The room had a king sized bed and a couch. It had a desk, 2 nightstands with reading lights. The vanity was big. It had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was clean and had plenty of towels. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the elevator worked fine. The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing. The Moonlight Beach Motel has been nicely updated recently and the view from the deluxe double room was amazing! There are no frills but has what you need including coffee maker, mini fridge & microwave & you can beat how close to the beach it is. It is very clean & well kept and Jordan at the front desk is very nice & helpful. I will stay here again.

The location was fantastic. Very clean but not a lot of amenities. The best part of the experience was the staff. All were very friendly and responsive, we would go back in a heart beat.

Perfect location for a visit to Safari Park

The hotel is about a 20 min walk from the train station/transit center. As I rounded the corner, this property was well landscaped, newer construction and overall several steps above its surroundings. The staff was friendly, no matter who I interacted with through the week. It seems the hotel and furniture was recently updated so things are modern and I found, very clean. I loved that our rooms were cleaned daily, beds made, bathrooms spotless, and we got fresh towels daily. The room was spacious, clean, and efficient.

It's not unusual for me to stay in a hotel once a week but it's quite unusual for me to stay at one 3x in one week. This place spoils you! The king suite has a living room and a full kitchen with a great bathroom and super comfy bed. My dog is more than welcome there which is another huge plus, but best of all, their included breakfast buffet is an upgraded continental and chocked full of options. Suites were very comfortable for our 10 day stay with our miniature poodle. We enjoyed the convenience of a nice daily breakfast. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Terrific location near restaurants, stores and highway Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Rooms were wonderful, kids enjoyed having their own room and bathroom. Plenty of space for them. And great privacy for myself. Highly recommend for families. Close to family attract.

Property felt new. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok. Continental. As you would expect. Overall would stay here again without question.

If you enter through the ground floor parking lot, you will need to call the number by the door to get in. Our room was not facing the major road, and it was quiet. We had a great stay, and the breakfast is simple yet fresh. Thank you!
