Very lovely property with very helpful staff. It is a bit of a walk away from town center but there is nearby shopping and restaurants. Although we were on a corner and had two streets below us, we found the room quiet at night. Air conditioning worked perfectly.
My wife and stayed at Masseria La Chiusa for a long weekend a few weeks ago (September 2015). While the hotel and its rustic surroundings were lovely, the thing that sets apart this spot is the super helpful staff. Rooms were incredibly clean. The buffet breakfast was great. Easy to find. Street parking was available. Lots of restaurants and shops with in walking distance. Easy drive to and from the airport. We will absolutely stay there next year!
This was a little tricky to find, with the chaotic streets and traffic, but Alessandro came to the rescue,found us and drove us to his lovely B & B. Once there it was a wonderful spot to explore by foot. Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff.

10 minutes to train station Centrale, where you can also take the airport shuttle and buses to everywhere.
Breakfast on rooftop with spectacular views. Everything touristic easily walkable, restaurants galore.
The only issue for some people would be that you have to walk up to the third floor, no elevator in the old palazzo.

The location was great. We took the airport bus to one of the main plazas I walked to our hotel about five minutes away. You have to go through a small entry and asked the man parking the cars for entry to the elevator of the hotel. I loved my stay. The room had lots of light and is clean, white and modern with a comfortable queen bed, a good shower and a mini fridge. We arrived in Palermo on the overnight ferry from Napoli and took a cab directly to the hotel. Because it was only 7:00am, we couldn't check into our room, but the desk manager offered to check our luggage so we could go out without worrying about it.
