The staff was absolutely amazing throughout our stay! They provided a smooth check-in, including detailed information about nearby sites & restaurants…including a map in English! Pretty much everything is within easy walking distance.
They had luggage storage for us so we could see some last things before our midday train departure…the train station was less than a 5 minute walk. We would love to stay here again.
It was terrible to find this hotel! I loved it once I got there and the receptionist was so helpful! It's now called New Hotel de la Baume. Remember this when following the signs. :-D
Le Vieux Castillon is in one of the most beautiful ancient villages that is close to Avignon, Uzes, Pont du Garde, St. Remy de Provence and Les Beaux. We have been going to this area for 15 years for business and this hotel does not disappoint. It may appear a little rustic to some, but the charm is great.
Nice B&B, good location and attractive price. The host is friendly and accommodating. It was quiet at night, but had some traffic noise during the day. Cold water and juice was provided upon our arrival, which was very nice. Excellent breakfast, including hard-boiled eggs, packaged meats, yogurt, bread, pain au chocolate, croissants, cereal, juice, coffee. Off-street parking behind a locked barrier is provided. We would stay here again.
We found this hotel by chance after canceling our stay in Avignon and it was a pleasant surprise. Very kind staff, beautiful countryside views, spacious rooms, and reliable AC. I would strongly recommend this hotel to live the lovely French countryman experience.
I didn't want to leave. This garden of Eden was so delightful. Breakfast was delicious and the setting was very relaxing. Would love to stay for a much longer visit.
This is a lovely small hotel on the quai. It was very quiet during the winter months. Breakfast was very good with fresh bread and pastries. Suggestions on area walks and farmer's market from the owner were helpful.
The property is very close to the old town and has a lovely pool and nice balconies to enjoy in the rooms. There is secure parking for a small fee as well.
Great location to explore the region. The whole staff (all women !! :-) is super helpful, good-humored and professional. We look forward to stay there again in the future.
Mas Des Figues is an amazing, amazing, amazing place. It is a flower filled and sunlight drenched refuge, with the warmest owner Philippe, and I highly, highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area. We went for the first time last year and have already been back once, and can't wait to return again.
