Nice little hotel. Central to everything. Very clean, with an air conditioned room and a small balcony. No real amenities although staff did store our cases and allowed an early check-in which was great. They also provided bottled water. Altogether definitely a nice place to stay.

Very nice staff and a very well-run hotel. Excellent location, too. The room was in good condition, very quiet and very clean. Bonus points for very comfortable beds and pillows.

The hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway on a budget. There are excellent restaurants nearby, and public parking is a 5-minute walk away. The room was simple but comfortable.

210 an air conditioned room at the front of the hotel with french windows opening on to a small balcony with a table and two chairs. Breakfast was available on the rooftop terrace with indoor and outdoor seating. 8 minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes walk to the arena.

Excellent location in Nimes. Rate was very affordable. Receptionist did not speak English. Room was good with a mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Could do with some extra towels/pillows. Air con in room. Overall was impressed

Breakfast on the rooftop! Staff are fantastic. Candy at the counter. Square to look out on.

6/10 Good

It was a nice clean hotel the main problem was that I had a room at the front which was not very well sound proofed and the music from the bar outside was quite intrusive until about 23.30. It was the same problem on a morning from traffic from about 6.45. This was a pity as the room was nice as was the view from the balcony.

A convenient well located accommodation

The Square Hotel is in an excellent location. It is close to both transportation and the various sites. It is possible to walk to all of these things easily. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We loved the hotel except the pillows are the fattest memory foam pillow we have ever seen. All 6 members of our party were up all night because of the pillows. Otherwise everything was fabulous-comfy beds, nice staff, and very accommodating to all of our requests-help with booking taxi, loaned us wine glasses and plates so we could eat our bread and cheese in the lobby, etc.

This hotel is in a great location. Parking is nearby for 40€ for three days. Or 25€ per day. We found it to be quiet. The staff were not the friendliest bunch but they did their job. Seemed clean enough. It’s fine for a night or two. Not really special or stand out in anyway. If you’ve seen pictures that looks like the room is in a basement it’s because the windows are very small and look at a brick wall. Even though we were on a high floor we couldn’t tell the weather at all. I didn’t particularly like that. I don’t know if all rooms are the same.

Check in staff was nice and friendly. Got me extra glass and bowl to the room. During check in they called me at 11:30 while checkout on Expedia was listed as 12. The location is perfect. Close to train station. Most sightseeing in walking distance. However a lot of noise from neighboring rooms especially when they close door or move chairs around in the tile.

What a pleasant surprise this place was. Incredible value for the price. Clean room, comfortable bed and excellent AC. And parking garage is conveniently right across the square. And only a few min walk from the coliseum. Highly recommend and definitely would stay again when in Nimes
