Have stayed here often over the years but not recently until this stay, the upgrades to rooms and AC are outstanding and the whole place has been upgraded. For those coming from afar there are THREE ABC stores a phenom in Hawaii, within a few hundred yards of the Hotel meaning you could come with nothing and up to 11pm we well equipped for your stay. I loved the staff and environment, I always go for a boutique style hotel to support the small businesses and I thought it was amazing. And a really good price also. To whoever is in these reviews saying they wanted it to be more resort like and BS like that should have booked at a resort if they wanted all the perks. I would just say everyone should stay here when going to Oahu because the staff where so excellent.

Friendly accommodating staff. 100steps away from the beach. My family loved the daily free breakfast and free filtered water.

I love the high floor view of the unit ..cleanliness is pretty good.. location is excellent also coz it was a walking dustance to waikiki beach and stores ..over all it was an excellent stay at this place.

clean, well maintained, paid parking and it’s okay, it was easy to find parking in the garage, location was great, walking distance to Waikīkī and restaurants. close to CorePower Ward and Kahala. ice and water dispenser in the lobby, a plus for me. Will stay here next time or again.

Beautiful property

I had an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and attentive to my questions and concerns.

Lovely rooms with Kitchenette. Close to public transportation and shopping. Front desk helped us with all our needs. They were terrific!

They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.

It was quiet compared to the properties in the heart of Waikiki. The staff was super friendly.

This hotel was perfect for our little stay. We specifically did not want to stay in Waikiki, and this was the perfect distance away. We could still walk to the Waikiki area, but felt like we were in a quite neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel room was a suite, and we were not expecting that. My ocean view room was the perfect stay for mine & my families visit to Waikīkī. We added the breakfast option which was perfect and saved us some coins as food in the area can get pricey. The views from our balcony were breathtaking, I found myself watching the sun set each day. Pool & poolside bar are nice *Be sure to catch their Happy hour specials. Overall no complaints 10/10!
