Imagine soaking up the atmosphere at Thuwanna YTC Stadium, a stadium in Thingangyun. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If you think Thuwanna YTC Stadium is cool, you also might like Bogyoke Aung San Stadium, located nearby.
Comfortable and clean. Of the six or so places we stayed in Myanmar, it was definitely the best. The service also very good.
The “Venus” message spa gave great messages for a reasonable price. I declined the “additional special services”, and was kinda surprised that such was politely offered. I guess the name “Venus” should have been a clue. Still, I would recommend it as the message was very good.
It’s a perfect hotel, beautiful and spacious room, staff are extremely polite and helpful, got a beautiful view of the lake. Love to come back for this hotel.
The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price.
Beautiful Hotel with three amazing restaurants with delectible and savory food. Lounge with great beverages and excellent food with friendly and prompt staff who anticipate your needs. Spa services were outstanding. Every staff member was polite and greeted you and always asked if there was anything they could do to make your stay better. We had an excellent stay for our 8th Anniversary. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The best part was the guest policy, we were able to invite our friends over without any restrictions or headcounts. It made hosting our gathering completely stress-free. Highly recommend!
Location is excellent compare to other hotels in Yangon. The distance from airport is not far. It's good to have an early morning walk on lake bank across the road, but be careful of the cars when crossing the road in Yangon. The breakfast is excellent, much better than Mandalay Sedona. Also the surrounding area is much better than other big hotels in Yangon.

Very nice hotel with beautiful lobby and beautiful areas to sit and relax. All the staff is extremely friendly. I received a warm welcome and a fruit basket and small flower-arrangement had been delivered to my room. Had a view to Shwedagon Pagoda, just amazing. Wonderful breakfast-buffet with great choice and attentive service. Concierge is very helpful with giving directions. Would definitely stay there again!
What an amazing place! The Governor's Mansion is a beautifully landscaped, well-maintained boutique hotel with so much history and charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and bright. The staff are all very professional, kind and helpful. If you want a relaxing and pampered place, the Governor's Mansion is a good choice.
