We had a lovely two-night stay here as a family and were upgraded to the Kin Wunn Villa upon arrival. Just being in nature, petting goats, and sitting on the porch looking at the scenery was the refreshment from the city we were hoping for. The staff members were all very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 5 days in Yangon, and the hotel was excellent. The room was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities and breakfast was delicious. But the best part is the service. All the staff is especially friendly and helpful. Mr. Htun, the owner, gave us several good recommendations for sights to see and very good restaurants. We stayed at Grand Laurel Hotel for a total of four days with our two year old son. The hotel staff was wonderful and so eager to help! Our two year old enjoyed his stay as well since he got his very own twin bed and we got our own queen bed. Perfect. This place is in a great location if you don't mind a little downtown noise. We come from Shanghai which is a big city so it didn't bother us. But if your looking for complete peace and quiet then maybe chose somewhere further north. Great place...

We are happy with this hotel. We stayed there for 2 weeks. Every morning, we have excellent breakfast including variety of American food and Burmese food such as monhinga, noodle soup, fresh and organic fruits, Indian food. Hotel staff are excellent. Cleanliness is number one reason to stay there. The room is large. Elevater is reliable. No issue for electricity. We are happy to see city view. We are pleased with warm/cold water for showering. It was a short 3D2N stay. I check it early - 10.30am. The hotel staff quickly prepare my check in. They are all friendly and helpful with smiles. One thing to improve is their breakfast. Buffet Breakfast is prepared from 6.30am. Very early timing and the food turns quite cold when I went to eat at 8am.

Better than other affordable hotels i've stayed at: clean, well maintained, quiet, nice windows, very friendly. Just well managed and pleasant stay, so positively surprised.

What an amazing place! The Governor's Mansion is a beautifully landscaped, well-maintained boutique hotel with so much history and charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and bright. The staff are all very professional, kind and helpful. If you want a relaxing and pampered place, the Governor's Mansion is a good choice.

We had an excellent stay for our 8th Anniversary. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The best part was the guest policy, we were able to invite our friends over without any restrictions or headcounts. It made hosting our gathering completely stress-free. Highly recommend!

The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price.

It’s a perfect hotel, beautiful and spacious room, staff are extremely polite and helpful, got a beautiful view of the lake. Love to come back for this hotel.
