"The hotel is a short distance from the centre of town but has an underground car park which is free for some guests. The breakfast was really excellent, good choice of fresh fruit and very nice unsliced wholemeal bread. Dinner was okay but beware that salt is added when meals are cooked. The spa facilities are good and reasonably priced. Nice outside pool on top floor and terrace with bar lower down. Recommended for a short stay."

"We stayed at Royal Suites when we first arrived in Split then again upon our departure. Staff is top notch. There is no elevator, but staff assisted us with our luggage, so it was no problem at all, Breakfast is superb and we enjoyed having full tummies to begin our day!! We highly recommend this hotel - it is not within the walls, but so close by it is just a walk away to many attractions. The area of the hotel is less crowded and noisy. We would definitely stay at this property again."
