"Clean well-maintained affordable hotel with very friendly staff. I lost my glasses, and the staff immediately took upon themselves to offer to call places, where I might have lost them, and then proceeded to offer a solution by pointing out where I could easily get replacement glasses cheaply. Whilst not a luxury property, it was clean, wellmaintained and offered a lounge area for informal meetings and good breakfast services and a bar."
"We loved this spot. The room was clean and spacious, the front desk staff was enormously helpful and the neighborhood was wonderful- it felt more residential and very safe for walking at night. We were able to walk to multiple restaurants and cafes for a quick bite with very easy access to old Munich for bigger festivities. We loved our stay."
"Great location - very central to downtown Munich. The front desk was very helpful when checking in and out as well. Room was clean. The neighborhood had a few coffee shops as well that were very nice!"
"Really cool hotel a short walk from the city centre. Plenty of cafes and bars nearby and handy for the S-Bahn station.
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely visit again."
"Excellent hotel located about 15mins from central station. Big clean rooms with helpful multilingual staff. Gym, pool and sauna available during designated hours. All clean and properly maintained."
"Easy check in. We were able to store our bags and do some sightseeing since we arrived early in the morning. Great location very convenient to the main train station (HBF). Breakfast was also very nice."

The fact that Hotel Europa is slightly off the beaten path (though ON the tram line) counts as an advantage. While I stayed at the Europa and enjoyed quiet surroundings, companions stayed near the Hauptbahnhof and had a terrible time with the noise of night-long partiers and seedy surroundings. The staff and furnishings of the Europa are first-rate, not over-the-top splendiferous such as demanded by poseurs, but quality provisions for the experienced traveler who knows what's...
Nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, good location for our trip (few minutes walk to the train station), we walked to Marienplatz, other attractions and restaurants.
This was our first stop on our 2.5 week European Honeymoon. We spent two nights here and we wanted to stay longer. We wanted to stay longer simply due to the staff. These people are amazing. They remember your names, they remember what you want to drink, they will book tours for you, recommend places to eat and places to go.
A few days after we left they sent an email thanking us for staying and told us to enjoy our trip to Prague. Then they mentioned if we needed help in France we could...
The staff is super friendly, the rooms are great and it was something great to me that the tv of your room had your name in the welcome message. The only thing that they need to improve is the breakfast, it'd be great if the buffet had more variety
Nice hotel, it’s located one block from the river Eisbach, This is the famous artificial channel where surfers ride the standing wave. The only downside is that there was not AC but there was a fan in the room. I’d stay there again.
My wife and I decided to stay here for the ease of access to Underground system in Munich as well as the convenience of being near the Englischer Garten. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay here. We loved the morning breakfast, enjoyed the room, and felt right at home during our entire trip. An added perk which we weren't aware of prior to booking was the full grocery store that was across the street. The next time we are passing through Munich we will definitely be...
Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. All of the staff was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful but the gentlemen who works the front desk in the afternoon was exceptional!! He provided me with local recommendations of where to go and a map of how to get there, clear and useful instructions for how the hotel works, and his energy and spirit were just so welcoming. I breathed a...
Very nice place to stay in Munich. Centrally located for public transportation and in a safe area. The highlight is the breakfast spread — make sure you take advantage of what they offer for a good start to your day. Wonderful people taking care of you, especially Avni. He and his co-workers are the best and want to see that you are happy with everything. No need to go anywhere else for breakfast!
I enjoy my stay at Ruby Lilly. Everything is designed as practical . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Hotel bar open 7/24 . Wi-Fi was very speedy. Room decoration was modern and pleasant. If I ever come to Munich again, I will stay 100% at Ruby Lilly
We had a very large room and the bed was very comfortable. Only complaint may be that the temperature was very warm the entire stay. Otherwise the staff was very kind and the breakfast was delicious.
This hotel is located in a residential neighorhood and it is part of a beautiful street. Five-minute of walk to English Garden and 10-minute walk to Marianplartz. Parking is on the street and costs 2 euros using the parking permit provided by the hotel. Two-minute down the street is a local cafe with delicious pastries and coffee for breakfast. We are a family of three and the room is spacious with high ceilings and has a double bed and a twin bed. No fuss at all. Earlier in the week we...
Best hotel, conveniently located for the Oktoberfest. I’ve stayed there the last 2 years for Oktoberfest and it’s the only hotel I’ll stay at in Munich! I will definitely be back!
