"We had a lovely stay here. Lovely clean and tidy hotel with ample parking. We were warmly welcomed at Reception, and the onsite restaurant was excellent. The rooms have air conditioning, which was most welcome as our stay was during a heatwave. Very highly recommended."

Friendly staff, lovely historic hotel, great location. Comfortable bed. Modern clean bathroom. Beautiful garden view from upstairs rooms. Good assortment of breakfast offerings. Street parking nearby. No elevator. Must be ok with stairs. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.
Exit train station doors and look across the street - Voila, Hotel La Consigne! Perfect location for me and my daughter arriving late in the evening. Last thing you want to do is have to look for your hotel in a strange city at night. We notified the staff in advance that we were arriving late from Bordeaux due to the train strike in France and they kindly waited up for us to give us our keys. The next two mornings we enjoyed the simple but tasty continental breakfast provided by the hotel...
Staff were wonderful. Breakfast is an extra charge, but had a good selection. No AC, which is usual for this area, but when we were there it was a little warmer for the area so the room was a little uncomfortable. Thankfully you can open the windows and the staff provided a fan, so we managed. The restaurant at night requires a reservation, which we did not realize ahead of time, so we had to find somewhere else to eat, so make reservations if you want to stay on-site. The food looked...
Le Grand Hotel Cabourg has a turn of the century ambiance in the public areas, but the rooms are up to date with very chic somewhat Art Deco style furnishings. The location on the boardwalk couldn't be better.
Amazing. Simply amazing. The owner was very friendly. We were the only guests and had the whole place to ourselves. I wish we would have spent more than just 2 nights here. The room was stunning and the grounds were well maintained. Very close to Bayuex and D-Day monuments and beaches. Only a 20 minute drive to Maisy Battery which is a must! If you have the opportunity to book here, do!
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The photos do not do the hotel justice. The staff were very friendly, we slept in so we couldn't experience the breakfast but the room restaurant looked inviting. The air-conditioning worked very well for the August weather. A very comfortable stay!
