"This is a fabulous hotel! I was coming through on my trip the whole way on route 66 from Chicago to the Santa Monica pier. I saw the good reviews and they were all justified! Breakfast is great – eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy plus I believe it was nine cereals, mini Belgian waffles and the usual pastries, etc. The room was great and they have an enclosed heated pool and hot tub! Those got a little crowded with the kids so I didn’t stay long. They were in the pool then when I got in the hot tub here they come lol. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. And the ladies at check-in and check out were amazing!"

"Everything was good. Only place found any dirt was in bathroom on ceiling in a corner, Would never noticed but looked up when showering."

"Room was clean. There was was no innkeeper for 3 days, i was literally the only person in that house. No one to discuss payment. Trying to communicate was extremely difficult. Finalky, on Saturday i met the chef and an innkeeper. Very nice. They asked me if i needed anything which was great. Food was delicous. Couple of thoughts. You have an untended leak by vack door feom the ceiling. That was my first impression walking in at 11pm. 2nd, i was in the Benton room at the top. 2 things: 1. Warn people how many stairs they will need to prepare for. I would have packed very differently if i knew. 2. Put up a shower certain. I was constantly drying the floors as neat as i was trying to be with the shower head it still was difficult and i was worried of contributing to aging that area. A simple shower certain would help yhose of us who care to enjoy our bath or showers. Thank you. "

"I’d love to give a better rating, the staff was friendly and helpful. Offering breakfast and had a laundry room and pool. The property is very close to other nice establishments. But I do believe I encountered an issue with bed bugs during my stay, I have multiple bites and found one crawling on me. At first I believed it to be a tick and later found out it resembled a bed bug more."
