Everything is so walkable, walk on the Trail by the water, they have swings & Adirondack chairs, restaurants & bars & shops are steps from the Hotel. Highly recommended!"
"Everything was clean, neat and refreshing compared to other hotels I have stayed at! Great spot to eat right next door called The Chop Shop! Thr staff was extremely friendly and nice! Loved having the balcony! AC worked extremely well! And absolutely LOVED the grandfather clock in the lobby, exactly like the one I have at home from my grandma! Will stay here again and recommend this hotel to others! Also only 8 minutes away from Hampton Beach! 10/10!"

"booked to stay weekend for back to back concerts at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. Surf House was convenient to the location less then 1/4 mile and easy to walk back and forth from the beach. Room was very clean and comfortable, definitely revisiting if my sons would like to visit the beach for a weekend. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a great visit back to the beach. . "

I absolutely LOVED staying here! My room was wonderful. I had THE BEST nights sleep! The bed was awesome. The innkeepers are wonderful and tremendously accommodating. The ‘continental breakfast’ was way more extensive. So very nice. And the location is in the heart of Newburyport, making it easy to walk everywhere. This area is so very lovely and I’m grateful I discovered this Inn! I hope to return again someday! I highly recommend Clark Currier Inn.
This hotel was wonderful. It was a large, clean space. We stayed bc we were attending a wedding in the area. We even forgot our dress & suit in the closet. We called & they gladly held the items for us so we could return & pick them up. There was a lovely park in the area for my 2yo. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay!
Great location, walking distance to everything. Allows us a zero stress gateway with off street parking, three room suites, common areas for socializing and private area with the fireplace. We bring extra duraflame logs.

Great staff, beautiful aesthetic and charming. We happened upon the Briar Barn looking for a quaint place to sleep for the night. This place was beyond our expectations and we are already planning another visit, with friends, to stay and see the sights of the area. We are New Yorkers and were so impressed by they service, the cleanliness, the vibe, the amenities and the space. We will come back and recommend to others.
The Surf House is very clean and tidy. Pool was great, mattresses were amazing and checking in was a breeze. They were able to accommodate a couple of last minute requests without issue. The staff, especially Hannah, were wonderful.
This establishment is the absolute best place I have ever stayed at during a vacation. Clean, quiet, convenient, the rooms were spectacular, and pool was fabulous. I will most certainly be returning soon! Thank You! :)
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Super clean, you are pampered, breakfast was amazing. Rooms are stunning with everything you could need including robes.
First of all… customer service was excellent! Super helpful, check in was super easy. Room was beautiful, clean and with everything that you could think you could need. The view towards the ocean was beautiful and everything exactly the way it was described. Can’t wait to go back and rent it again ..,
This is a beautiful old house, with real antiques everywhere. There are many details such as all day coffee and other hot drinks, complimentary sherry, and chocolates. The breakfast is substantial and the garden is lovely. All around a very nice place within 10 minute walk to center of town.
