I had booked a hostel and could no longer take sharing a room. Hostel single rooms are the same as a nice room in a hotel. Hotel Diana was a breath of fresh air. Arrived around 10am, check-in was at 2pm. They accommodated me and I was in my room by 11am. Came with a bottle of wine (okay because it was free) for VIP members.

Great bed with quality pillows and sheets. Full size fridge, big modern shower, and nice small sofa and table with chairs. Good base while exploring the area, easy walk to train. Also good sound proofing, surprisingly quiet given the location.

The apartment was clean, quiet, and spacious. The location is very convenient, with many nearby restaurants, and grocery stores, and a quick 10 minute walk to the South Bank parklands, 25 minutes walk to downtown. The area felt very safe, and we enjoyed using the pool and BBQ area amenities. The only thing to note is that there are limited supplies provided (enough for 2 dishwasher and 2 laundry loads) and no basics such as oil, salt, or pepper, so if you're booking for a longer stay or planning...
