Historic 1922 building in the heart of a good mixture of Brisbane.

The staff was wonderful! They initially upgraded our room and when the air conditioning didn’t work they immediately moved us to another room and comped us for the inconvenience. The area around the hotel has a lot to see and do.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, hot water kettle and dishes. The room was clean and also had a washer/dryer in the bathroom which I loved. We checked in after hours and had limited interaction with the staff but the few times they were friendly. The only thing that I noticed that could have been better is the carpet in the hallway from the elevator to our room appeared to have not been vacuumed while we were there. Great unit, easy check in and out, clean towels upon request. Easy to park in underground garage although tight spaces for our SUV rental. Our grown kids enjoyed the gym and sauna. Bathroom was stocked with toiletries. Kitchen could use some potholders and the bathrooms could use updated ventilation. Maybe a few ice trays for the freezer. Would stay again and recommend to friends. We loved the bridge view and how the colors were different each night.
