Place was an absolute dive.
Bed was springy, no tv remote, room smelt like cigarettes as soon as I walked in, there was a skylight on the ceiling and a roller blind to cover it which was pointless as it sagged and let in light. Walls were paper thin and I could hear other guests running around the corridors and jumping around after 10pm.
Bathroom was outdated and tiles cracked everywhere, shower curtain was minging and I’d definitely have caught something had I used the shower.
Lift doesn’t work and the stairs are steep, avoid if you have any mobility issues.
Had to use a chair to barricade the door as I felt unsafe in this place.
Carpets in the hallways have never seen a hoover since the day they went in.
WiFi — poor, doesn’t work.
There’s a Travelodge across the road, do yourself a favour and stay there.
