The hotel exceeded my expectations. Fantastically helpful staff, delicious restaurant on site, common areas to relax with a uniquely Miami vibe. Room was pretty barebones, but very clean with quality bathroom facilities, and exactly what my family needed. Location is excellent…easy to walk or bike anywhere along Collins or the beach boardwalk. I’ll probably stay here again next time I’m in Miami Beach.

This place was amazing. Upon walking in, it smelled amazing and it was very scenic. The room was clean with daily cleaning service offered. The property had a pool as well as an amazing restaurant on site. It was giving resort style stay. They even had a laundry room next to the pool to wash and dry your clothes. We come back to Miami in August and will stay at the same place. Prime location as well next to a lot of restaurants and the beach 10/10.

Pros: Great location in Miami Beach, popular onsite bar/restaurant, very nice pool, clean comfortable rooms, elevator, eclectic vibe. Cons: Onsite bar is overpriced (plus the bartender actually asked me what ingredients go into the $22 gin martini I ordered), no free coffee available in the mornings (but there is a Starbucks two or three blocks south), no hand towels in the room.

Staff that attended us at night was great. We asked for a king-sized bed, but when we went to the room it was a queen bed 😑. When we went back to the front desk, he personally walked us to another room, we took a double bed just because it is more room. The queen-sized bed being a king-sized bed in the system is not his fault, it is managements fault. This employee saved our hotel experience going straight to a 1 star. Management: PLEASE make sure your rooms are categorized as they are, King-beds are king beds, and queen beds are queen beds. Otherwise, great property, very clean, views and distance from beach are indisputable.

I booked ages ago before it was the Rendale, and had paid in full, with nothing due at the hotel. When I checked in I was asked for another $90+ I explained what I had arranged through Expedia/hotels.com and showed proof that I had paid in full. This was instantly removed from the invoice. I was also asked if a few stairs were ok, and upgraded to a lovely Junior Suite, In “The Villa” A small collection of rooms, out the back of the hotel, through the pool area. It was well equipped, well laid out, with a large bed, sofa, chair & desk. A small fridge was provided in the room too. One only gripe was the A/C wasn’t very strong/cooling. I think as our room had nothing above it, it was a bit overwhelmed, so coming back from the beach etc. it was still a bit warm in the room. But a great hotel, with great transport links, right next to the beach, and very reasonably priced for Miami!

Super cute boutique style hotel. Super close to beach and other hotels and port. Was able to get on bus to cruise port. Over the phone the guy said it was a $50 hold but when I got there there was a $100 hold. Our first room was right by the elevator. NO AC BROKEN TOILET and it looked like a construction sight. The front desk lady kept saying she couldn’t get in touch with manager. Finally I had enough and told her move me or give me a refund. She moved me end everything was wonderful. So cute and restaurant food was GREAT

At check-in, the receptionist requested a credit card deposit. He stated that the refund would be processed seven days after check-out. A month after my stay, I still haven't received the refund. I contacted the hotel but was ignored. I asked Hotels.com to look into it, and the only response was that I should check the refund status with my bank. The hotel itself is good, well-located, and reasonably priced. However, the scam involving the failure to return the deposit is disgraceful.

Everything was clean and in order except the pool. Pool was not maintained and noticed a lot of hair strands floating around me. My only complaint. Also there is no parking there, the only hotel near that offers overnight parking for a fee of 68-84/night is the faena so keep that in mind!

I’ve done some legwork so you don’t have to. There’s no street parking over 4 hours nowhere. Impossible to park overnight on the streets or at nearby hotels even with the valet. In the description it plainly states “street parking” and “off property parking” available. Your best bet is municipal parking garage G12 located on the 23rd street (which is a mile away), you are going to have to walk or use an Uber or any other transportation to get to your parked car. No unloading zone available when we arrived. Front desk advised us all over the city instead of giving clear instructions how to park overnight. We could finally relax and walk in the room after 9:30pm after fighting to find an overnight parking. Another huge issue with this hotel is the restaurant “pikio taco”. If you don’t pay attention and in hurry to tip, please slow down they already done it for you. In you receipt you will find automatic gratuity of 20%. We were not expecting this and gave them cash tips as well. Our bad. But that felt sneaky… All the plumbing was wore out. In the king bed instead of regular king mattress there were 2 twins which is extremely uncomfortable and we didn’t sleep well at all. Also no vacuuming only sweeping. No microwave no coffee maker in the room. The room is furnished very bare and basic.

We stayed in a room that is apparently used as a dorm room during the regular college semesters, and there were no hand towels, nor a place to hang them if we got them after requesting, which we did not get, only wash rags. The beds were hard and dorm like but good enough for a solid nights sleep. The walk to the room was a bit creepy too. Other than that-it was cute and trendy and the regular rooms are probably just fine! Just be aware of what you book!
