Stunning city centre hotel

Stayed 3 days at Lapland Hotel whilst on business. Wonderful hotel, beautiful decor and rooms. Restaurant was high quality but above all, the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and all with a winning smile. I highly recommend this hotel.

One of best hotels were we had been, the root top room is amazing with sauna and bathtub. Breakfast is different than usual there is lots of from Lappland . Staff is comfortable they have time to speak with us.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It has a very relaxed, laid back, warm atmosphere. The whole hotel is spotless. The staff are friendly, efficient and professional. The Arctic Deluxe Spa Room was just great. The sauna and the whole bathroom is excellent. The area is very convenient for sights, shops, ferries and walking. The restaurant Kulta in the hotel was very warm, spacious and of course the food was delicious. Generally what you feel is that the whole design concept of everything has been thought through and nothing is out of place … go and stay there!

It was the most hospitable, uniquely decorated, well appointed hotel we ever stayed at!! We will highly recommend a visit to Helsinki and Finland to enjoy this Branded Hotel. They upgraded us to a "Sauna Suite" which was heavenly! Full breakfast with amazing choices. Very large and comfy room, bed, pillows and comforters. Large screen TV and comfy chairs in room. 5 Star in every option!! Thank you so much! We will return!

Stayed one night (24-25dec). Booked parking through their website for extra, but worth it as you’ve then got your car in central Helsinki. The sauna in the room worked lovely, bed and pillows very comfy. Worth checking out the gym for the funky stone dumbbells. Breakfast very good, though probably the first Finnish hotel who doesn’t have munavoi for the riisipiirakka. The only other comment is they need a chart in the room for the nespresso capsules so you know what is what.

Felt like I was transported to a luxurious part of Kattegat. Scandinavian themed, Viking music. Great location, easy to get to train station and walk anywhere in Helsinki. Incredible breakfast with traditional Finnish options (you want reindeer sausage in your omelette? Ok!). Cozy cute room, even the smallest option. One of the best parts was the toiletries! Omg the “arctic pine” scented hand soap and body wash awoken my Nordic spirit. I wish I could’ve bought 6 bottles of hand soap to bring home as gifts. Would def stay here again

Absolutely First-Rate, Top-Notch Hotel Experience

First of all, what a wonderful location: Right in the heart of Helsinki's chic design district, just steps away from great bars, restaurants, record stores, bakeries, and more. The city center is a quick walk away, or there is a tram stop directly in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is chic and modern, with subtle old-Norse accents (antlers, animal pelts, eerie folk music, etc.). The room was spacious and incredibly well-appointed -- complete with in-room sauna. Plenty of USB plugs, too, which is always a plus. Breakfast was a bit crowded, but given the quality and variety of food offered, not surprising! Service was very friendly and efficient. Also, the hotel restaurant serves delicious Finnish food and is worth dropping by for dinner...

Front desk did not provide information on where to eat locally when asked during check-in. Staff solely recommended the hotel restaurant, which wasn't helpful. I decided to give the hotel restaurant a try - much to my disappointment. The service was horrible. We waited well over an hour for our meal. An hour wait for a burger is unacceptable. Take make matters even worse, the burger wasn't even tasty. When the bill arrived, I discovered that we were charged for water. We were not informed of this charge when the water was brought to the table. The breakfast that came included was just average.
