The host was exceptional. Very clean hotel, Close to middle of York. Quiet room when we slept. Lovely stay from start to finish

Had a good experience at the Vikings. The host was fab and super helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again. Good location for York centre and a really good price for a Saturday night.

Great little find of a hotel. Room was plenty big enough and really well appointed. Bed was super comfy as well. It's a bit of a walk outside of town but only 15 minutes or so. It did mean it was nice and quie until the neighbour behind did building work at 0900!! The only niggle was that the shower door didn't close properly. But everything else was fab.

Well we had an amazing day and night in York as we always do - we booked late so Viking had availability and apart from being abit further away from the centre than we usually get it was perfect- clean - friendly helpful staff - comfortable welcoming quiet and cosy ! We also got engaged on this trip so our first night as fiancés was at biking so it will always be special :)

La maison est située à environ un kilomètre du centre de York, et présente l’avantage d’être extrêmement calme tout en étant suffisamment proche des nombreux points d’intérêt de cette très belle ville

The room was nice. It was a little warm at night even with the window was open and fan blowing. The community kitchen is really nice. It’s only a short walk to Old Town where there are lots of shops.

Communication was great and the check in and check out times felt very reasonable. Were provided with a few tips to make the most of our time exploration which was really helpful. Location was great for us, walking distance to the centre. Although not a bed and breakfast hotel, there were still coffee and tea making facilities in the room and you can help yourself to some more if needed from the common area. There is also a kitchen for guests to use, but we ate out at one of the many quaint cafes available in the city centre. Bed was comfy and shower was great. For what we paid, you can't fault it.

Clean room. Easy to access. Helpful staff. Uncomfortable bed. Provided fan was extremely dusty and barely worked consistently (which considering the moderate heatwave wasn’t the greatest).

The room was small but clean, had a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The guest kitchen and sitting area was a great bonus and had everything you needed to cook a meal. Nour was the most friendly and helpful host. He arranged a parking permit for £5 pound a day. Easy walking distance to town centre.
