Nice room but bathroom flooded in morning
Although No.7 is potentially a lovely room (nice touches as well like choclates on pillows) my one night stay turned out to be a bit of a nightmare. was woken up in the middle of the night by loud gurgeling noises. it had rained heavily and as No.7 is lower ground floor the drains were overfowing and into my shower cubicle and half of the bathroom floor!
I called the owner in the morning who said he could fix it in 5 min. and I could have a shower. I am not a plumber but can say that overflowing drains cannot be fixed in 5 min. esp. as it kept raining heavily. I turned to hotels.com back home but got hardly any support. They asked the owner if he will refund my stay and guess what: he said "no". what a surprise. one should be able to expect a bit more from an organisation like hotels.com. they just can't be bothered. sorry: overflowing drians - god only knows what swam in that water - are a health and safety issue. Hotels.com should take this seriously
