While the attendants at the gas station were very friendly, they had minimal knowledge of the motel. When we arrived the door wouldn't open with the key provided, we used the other key and with some fenegaling and pushing we got the door opened. The door isn't very protective to say the least. We were told if we needed anything to dial 1 on the phone, we checked the room for the television remote and couldn't find it, so I started looking for the phone to call the desk and there is no phone. I called using my cellphone and spoke with the attendant, he was friendly but not knowledgeable. He said he would get a hold of his manager. He did and called me back saying there is no television service in the room that is why there are no remotes. They did not make this clear on the website or when we checked in. I expressed my concern with the man and he said I would have to wait until Monday to talk to the manager.
The room had trash around the beds, bug traps right in front of the door, sticky stuff on the end table between the two beds. For almost 100 a night I can honestly say I've had better experiences in more seedy areas of our country for a lower cost
