Staff all helpful. Responded promptly to our queries.Rooms very clean and the hotel was well decorated and appeared to be well maintained. Location on seafront excellent and you can park conveniently, and can buy a day parking voucher for £2.50 from hotel reception. Breakfast menu restricted but cooked to order and was hot.

Mostly good. The room was really hot as you couldn’t open windows at night due to the noise from the road outside. The shower was ok. Toilet and sink separate from it. Towels could be a little bigger but were changed on request. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of tea and coffee. Staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a single room. It was small but functional. Good value for money. I would say though there was ambient noise from plumbing and rooms around it and the mattress was springy old one without a topper. So fine for a few nights but not longer if you’re sensitive to those things.

The staff were lovely and very friendly throughout our stay, which was the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. We also had no hot water, meaning we had to take a cold shower, which was very disappointing. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. Overall, while the staff were excellent, the issues with the room mean we are unlikely to return.

Great location directly across the road from the beach and close to areas of interest (Seven Sisters, Lewes, Battle) We enjoyed our spacious clean room with high ceilings and doors opening to the balcony to let in the sea breeze / fresh air. Friendly staff. Pleasant stay!

The staff were welcoming before we even entered the hotel - my disabled husband was helped up the steps to the entrance. Our room was very clean, especially noticed in the bathroom. We had a superior room with a sea view. The view was definitely worth the extra cost. Our king size bed was huge and very comfortable. We had breakfast and an evening meal in the hotel in a very pleasant dining room. The breakfast was excellent value. The evening menu is fairly limited and basic but the price reflected that and it wasn’t a problem for us, staying just one night. We would definitely visit again if the opportunity arises. Thank you East Beach Hotel staff.

The room was ideal ***** for myself as a solo traveller. This top floor room was nicely decorated. clean, secure, facilities perfect and no noise from the stairs/common area, nor outside. Could not fault the room at all. Decor throughout the hotel generally was very pleasant. The lift was out of order however it didn't spoil my stay as although one of the agile older generation, was up and down the stairs in no time at all.
