We had great customer service, but the rooms are very outdated and not very clean.

The only problem I had was it was like sixty-eight degrees in my room, I found the thermostat and turned it up, but it stayed at sixty-eight degrees, so it was just a little cool. I thought the beds were too soft, maybe the next time I rent a room I will try a different room. Was very clean and all the fixtures looked like new.

When the power went out at the entire motel, there was no one on duty to report it to. They leave the desk at 5pm. Phone calls went straight to voicemail. The power went on (for seconds at a time) and off over 5 hours. A bartender at the lodge said this happens all the time. When I checked out in the morning, the clerk insisted it wasn't their fault and couldn't care less that my elderly mother was unable to sleep because she requires a cpap and oxygen. Very rude. The rooms also smelled like mildew. Also, Lake Panorama is a PRIVATE lake and not available for boating or anything else. I do not recommend this place.

The only thing I had a concern with that the cleaning people were trying to push the customers out around 730 so they can start cleaning. This was a Sat/Sun stay.

Never interact or see anyone. Key is found outside of the building in a cupboard. Facility is older but well maintained.

I did not have super high expectations, and the intention of this stay was casually for sleeping purposes after a music festival. I completely under estimated this place. It’s not fancy or modern, but the cleanliness and service make up for all that BY FAR! Food at the clubhouse was great, and the bar is well stocked. I would definitely return for a lake trip!

Great location for the golf course. Property is dated, but fine for us. I wish you could access the room from outside as well as inside the building.

We were not made aware of the fact that check in ended at 5:00. We were unable to stay, had to drive to Ankeny and will never be back to this "resort"
