The view is amazing. Rooms are clean. It is a motel, our room had a tiny shower with a shower head the size of a quarter at 5 feet. The front desk closes at 8 and when our fire alarm started beeping the annoying out of battery alarm at 830, neither text nor emergency number were answered.

Yes and No!

The views were amazing, the property was quiet. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin. Not luxurious—if that is what you are after. We had two small children under the ages of 2 1/2. The doors do not lock from the inside so we had to barricade the door with one of the living room chairs. Not a kid-friendly place, not beach-convenient. But if you need a quick get-away and some peace & quiet with great views and like a bit of a campy feel, this is the place for you! Just don’t bring the kids!

It was great. The room was nice and clean, and there were a lot of towels/ nice hot water. One problem is that whenever we turned on the shower, a pipe would start squealing until the shower was turned off. Also, sometimes certain lights would take a second to work. Besides that, it was awesome!

For a place that has been around a while, they are really attempting to keep a friendly and open place. I can imagine the upkeep on a place like this, so close to the water. The view is definitely a huge bonus and within walking distance of access to beach. I had a good stay while taking it easy...with a nice view.
