Great hotel! Staff are awesome and SO excellent with children. While waiting for the bus to the park (they arrive every 15mins) one attendant quickly made some custom badges for our children which they adored. Room was great, Comfy bed, Good water filter/dispenser, Coffee Machine. Slippers. Cute note pads for the kids. Thank you Disney for the special experience.

From the moment we arrived at the Explorer's Lodge at Hong Kong Disneyland we knew we were in for a treat. The welcome, the friendliness and the attention to detail of everything was first-class. We have visited Disney Parks and Hotel properties around the world and can honestly say that Hong Kong Disneyland is the best.

Easy access to Disneyland with free shuttle buses. Family friendly rooms with two queen beds. Excellent front desk service and luggage storage options. The outdoor pool was closed for maintenance during our visit in March. Overall, a positive stay at Disney Explorer Hotel.

Room was lovely, food was even better. Staff were great and we were able to get into the room on arrival at 11.30am which is very unusual. Loved the Nemo playroom. Pool was closed, that's a shame.

Great property to stay with kids spatially for the true Disney experience. Good size rooms with ok amenities, slightly dated but generally ok. Pool area and general facilities are great and spacious and the staff friendly and courteous. Biggest downside to this hotel and one which is probably a Disney created and related issue is the food. Apart from breakfast which is plentiful and good quality (but wildly expensive) the other food options( and lack of them) are below average and pricey and as this location has nothing else around it to choose from the Disney monopoly really makes it a bad experience.
