We arrived last week after two weeks of business in Shenzhen in Beijing. We absolutely needed a break . We loved staying at the Disneyland hotel. The location is wonderful, and where it is situated, on the bay, with beautiful views of Hong Kong, was amazing. We were particularly impressed with the staff. One young lady in particular, Carissa, who was serving in the Club Room, did an amazing job! We will definitely stay here again. It will be our go to resort for r&r.
I recently stayed at Hotel Icon in Hong Kong for four nights with my son, and every moment was delightful. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Genuinely a great hotel. If you'd like to get an authentic taste of Hong Kong with easy access to transit, this is an excellent location. The hotel is right above a subway station, has tram and bus stops directly outside, is an easy walk to the ferry pier, and the frontdesk can order a taxi if you need one. Lights, free cell phone, electric drapes, and much more made our stay very easy and comfortable. View was surprisingly good between high rises to water and beyond. Food at hotel bar was excellent.
Gateway hotel is our family's go-to hotel for the past 2 decades, and this is because of its great location. Price is a bit steep but makes up for it with its ample room size and excellent service.
Room size was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent too, close to bus/subway transportation (MTR) and restaurants. Wonderful all-you-can-eat buffet available for breakfast and dinner..reasonably priced (not sure about lunch since we didn't eat there for lunch).
