The location was perfect for access to Bryggen in one direction and the city center in the other. The staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful, most especially Jakob who was determined to problem solve an issue in our room. It was nothing major, just a small annoyance with the TV settings, but Jakob figured it out and seemed happy to be spending his time solving the issue. The bed was comfy, the heated bathroom floors were delightful, and the provided robe was the best robe I've ever worn. The breakfast was superb, featuring what felt like endless options, and it was served in a gorgeous setting. We were here celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. My husband had called ahead to have flowers and a note waiting for us on arrival. The Bergen Børs staff went above and beyond by leaving rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed in addition to gifting us a plate of chocolates along with the bouquet my husband purchased. Our stay here was wonderful and the perfect start to our trip to Norway.

Excellent location - central to everything making it very walkable including the old part of the harbor with the historic warehouses and the nearby fish market area with lots of restaurants. Breakfast was excellent too. Main issue is the hallways were rather dingy and dirty, especially the carpeting, which for these prices should not be the case. For those with any kind of mobility issues, know there are about 5-6 steps up from the street to the lobby and then depending on the location of your room another set of steps from the lobby down and across to the far elevator. There is no bellman to help with the luggage.
