Staff excellent- friendly, polite, helpful. Fabulous location, right in the middle of Ortigia but hotel itself an oasis of calm. Family room very spacious and lovely. Breakfast buffet standard/good. Terrace bar nice to have but small with limited opening - still can’t believe they don’t know what a limoncello spritz is, when it’s so popular elsewhere - but tried hard to accommodate. In summary we were very very happy of our choice of hotel in Ortigia.

Love this hotel!

My favorite hotel on my whole trip through Sicily. Charming hotel in a perfect walkable location. So much to see, do and eat right outside the door. My room had 2 balconies, was spacious, so clean. Super comfortable bed and pillows. So quiet at night. Great breakfast buffet. Wonderful variety, great coffee. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and helpful. Nice hot shower too!

This place is amazing and lives up to the exceptional reviews it gets. The room was huge by both European and American standards. It is right in the heart of Ortigia and convenient to everything. I suggest that you do not try and find a place to park. We used the valet parking place they suggested and we're glad we did. The people at the front desk were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was amazing. It is very safe, clean and the overall service was superb. I would definitely recommend this place and would certainly stay again.

Great place to stay in Ortigia

The hotel has a very good position in Ortigia. The room was well furnished, roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would be very happy to stay there again and thoroughly recommend this hotel. Travel tip: you cannot get to the hotel by car. There is a valet parking service which allows you to drop off in Piazza Archimede, about 20m from the hotel. The alternative is a public car park some distance away.

Great stay in Syracuse

Clean, comfortable stay in the heart of the Ortigia Island area of Syracuse. Helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast and rooftop bar area. We coordinated with the hotel for valet parking which was helpful given density of the area and limited parking options. Convenient location with easy access to most of the key sites in the area.

Staff was great, the room was charming and the breakfast was the best in Italy! There was street noise in the later evening as we were trying to sleep. We are not party people. The arrival and parking situation was unclear as this was our first Ortigia trip. I thought that we had arranged for someone to park our car. We had to walk our luggage in to the hotel with no where to park leaving someone with the car and police officers telling us we could not stay there then drive to a public parking and pay there. We needed help to find the hotel property and this took lots of texts.

Amazing staff and perfect location!

We would absolutely stay here again. Everything was fantastic. Service is exemplary and the location is perfect. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We were leaving before breakfast so they offered to pack us a breakfast box to go, which was a nice touch and was perfect for our train ride. Our sea view room was amazing. You should stay here!
