The rooms are individual lodges. Ours was quite small but fine for one night. Lynette was very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for dinner and other things to do. There were lots of small touches that we appreciated, and a lovely continental breakfast.

I enjoyed my stay at the Waitomo Lodge. Lynn greated me with a great spirit and was very welcoming. My room was tidy and comfortable. Tea kettle and an assortment of teas in your room. A/C and heater both worked well. Breakfast in the morning was just what i neexex to start my day. Good string coffee, soft warm croissants and yogurt with fruit and granola. Dinner at Tomos was fantastic. Thank you Lynn for the recommendations. I had a solid nights sleep and a great visit to the area.

She suggested a night time bushwalk trail by a nearby river to see the glow worms up-close and it was spectacular! The morning breakfast was very pleasant with cereal, coffee/tea, toast and lots of toppings. A nice stay with nice host.
