This place is old, and the rooms reflect that. No counterspace on the sink. It didn’t feel clean. We couldn’t get in our room until it was inspected and once we did we found stuff on the bathroom floor, including a dime, and absolutely no soap. I cannot imagine what they were inspecting for. They used to serve a real breakfast in years past. You would sit in the restaurant, order and pay. Now it’s only continental seven days per week. As I have a gluten allergy I basically was able to drink milk and juice, and eat some fruit. Most everything else was bread, muffins or sweet rolls which was a huge disappointment! This place has a communal balcony with an excellent view of the river and forest! The view is truly lovely, but not enough to bring me back to ever stay here again.
