Have stayed here several to ones, always a good experience,

Beautiful rooms, restaurant, and bar. An absolutely gorgeous building and public spaces for guests. Friendly and helpful staff made luxury easy, and accessible to even the most simplest of travelers on a brilliant and welcoming level.

Friendly staff, clean hotel, good food, great area.

Love the free buffet dinner! Staff was very helpful. Room was nice. Only complaint was that we could hear some loud cars on the highway at night.

I love this hotel! Such great service, a boho style with huge rooms and comfy beds. They are even pet friendly! Such a gem. I’ve stayed twice and will stay as often as we can!

Great stay with thw family and very affordable. It was just a one night stay.

We had a king size bed this trip and it wasn’t as comfortable as the queen beds we had a week earlier. The staff as friendly regardless of being busier the prior week.

The Derby City Gaming & Hotel was so clean! I felt secure with the safety to access my floor. The staff (Keke) was very welcoming and made check-in great. Bonus: I love to watch the horses train in the morning.

The hotel was very nice. Front desk was extremely friendly. Location was great! Would have preferred a better view. I booked a city view room but got the back service area.

It was a really nice place to stay. Timothy was awesome! The only thing that was not great was the third party valet. A couple warned us their car was broken into at the open lot along with 5 others that week. Park in the parking buildings near the hotel. They have cameras.

We were so impressed with all the attention to the detail in everything by everyone, cleanliness of hotel, the kind and helpful staff...for instance, Hannah,we were somehow loss and called for some directions and Hannah's patient help over the phone brought us directly to the Hotels door on/near our arrival. Needed a quiet place to stay while visiting my son on the base. Both of my boys are very tall, so needed space, too. When Guest Services found out we had driven all night and my son was deploying that week, they made sure we had a quiet room out of the way, adjusted timelines & accommodations for his changing schedule, invited him to join us for breakfast(s) for free, etc. They even added on another night and kept us in our room, even though they were booked, but he got an extra day with us. ...

According to the owner, he built it from scratch, it’s not like any other hotel I’ve ever stayed at (for better or worse) and there were lots of little niceties included. The paint scheme in the hallways was a garish green and my room had a pretty funky “living room”, but it had a full kitchen (which I didn’t need to use) and a nice bed. Overall, very clean and nice.
