The staff were very kind and helpful, and the room had good amenities. There were lovely seating areas on the terrace and in the restaurant. Unfortunately we did not feel safe leaving the hotel at night due to the surrounding area, however during the day the hotel is close to the main high street and local parks which are good to check out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the ArtPlaza. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Carolina and Jimmy. The hotel's terrace was a great place to relax in the heart of the city. We loved our room, including the shower. Breakfasts were quite generous and kept us going until lunchtime. I really appreciated the fresh fruit and juices. Thank you for a great stay! ¡Deciremos a nuestros amigos sobre su hotel y muchas gracias!

Staff was very nice and breakfast was good. Other than that the room was basic and not in the best condition. Neighborhood was not save after 7-8pm. If we had known that we would not have stayed here.

The hotel had a good breakfast for $5 and Jimmy is awesome. The room was small and had a kitchenette that didn't work. No table or chairs except outside in the courtyard which was nice but cold at night. There was a skylight in the room and the curtains didn't block the light well, so it started getting bright at 6am. There are dogs running around everywhere so you hear them barking at night along with any trucks or motorcycles. The sound insulation was not good. No climate control in the room so it can get chilly. Everyone told me not to go outside after dark unless you take a taxi as the area is not safe. I would probably choose a different hotel if I were to come back to Quito.

The hotel is in a beautiful 100 year old building with copious wooden trim. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying and the staff are exceptionally nice and helpful! I extended my stay!
