Located just 15 minutes walikng from the Medina, this lovely small hotel offers the traveler a wonderful place to relax and unwind, with excellent service by a very friendly and welcoming staff! Happy to have our choice of rooms upon arrival, and concierge-like service for a dinner recommendation. The parking is easy, as was the driving in and out. Breakfast was very delightful. And five stars for the staff! Perfect ambassadors of Moroccan hospitality!

Great place to stay in Chefchaoun. It is very close to Medina, which is an uphill walk, but nice to get away from the noise. This place is very clean has a big room, great breakfast and friendly staff. Would recommend this place.

Very convenient location if you're getting dropped off by a taxi or some such (no need to carry your bags through the souk) Friendly / helpful staff Only complaint is that the towels are overly starched.

Blue City bliss

My 2 friends and I stayed for 3 nights and found Puerta Azul to be quirky and charming. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The location was close to the market area and we could walk everywhere. The rooms really vary in size, layout and decor. Breakfast was good every day. Bring earplugs as the neighborhood dogs can be noisy at night.

The property is easy access you can drive right up to it. Inside is gorgeous everywhere you look is tiled and painted beautifully. Air-conditioning in all rooms works amazing. Beds are comfortable. Very cute hotel! the staff was very accommodating and even gave us free treats when we wanted to play cards in the lobby. Everything is blue except the walls of the rooms. The pictures show blue walls, but they are white. Highly recommend

A beautiful, very clean property at the edge of the medina. A very convenient , easy 8-10 minutes uphill walk to the medina, or a 1 US$ taxi ride. We prefer this type of property with easy parking access, more spacious rooms, and modern and clean bathroom facility, in comparison to the usually cramped, musty, older riads within the medina. The breakfast is generous and excellent. The manager Aziz and his younger assistant are warm and hospitable, treating the guests like their own family. A wonderful , unbeatable choice for Chefchaouen !
