The rooms are overall really well done! Some "historic" hotels are a little questionable, but the Victor almost got it just right.
Unfortunately, we only had a tiny amount of toilet paper in our bathroom. We tried calling the number provided, but it went to VM. Which leads to the second issue, lack of staff. I know this is supposed to be a "haunted" hotel, but the only evidence of that we experienced was the ghosts of staff that were no longer there!
Also, if you have a street facing room in the warmer months, bring ear plugs. There is no AC, so keeping the windows open is necessary. The street noise can be very loud. Not at all a criticism of the hotel, just good to know.
Overall, despite some of the "quirks", I would absolutely stay there again - but choose a non street facing room.
