6/10 Good

The room was a good size for Nice and had a nice balcony. Unfortunately, there was a strong sewage smell in the room, which made the stay unpleasant. No drinking water was provided in the room. The hotel is in an industrial area with little nearby. Hotel charges €12 per day for parking, a charge that was not mentioned in my booking and I actually chose that hotel because of parking. The spacious room and balcony were positives, but the smell was a significant problem. Breakfast was good, limited selection but consistent with the budget of the hotel.

Very handy to stay, the tram nearby and busstop outside the door. Secure parking. Room with balcony to sit out over the main road, but in the centre of Nice it was great watching trains, trams. Breakfast great in the big airy light conservatory.

Affordable and friendly hotel

Good location 15 mins by tram from city centre. All staff were friendly and helpful. We came to Nice for the first time and the receptionist explained to us how to get trams and bus and where the sightseeing places are. Each room has a balcony with cute chairs and a table to enjoy the sun. Breakfast was simple and fresh.

Nadine and Cheska at the Front Desk were wonderful, nice, helpful and kind. Great job and thanks again! The location and room balcony were great! Our room air conditioner did not work because of an EU law, really?

Nice hotel needing Wi-Fi upgrade for business use.

Other than the Wi-Fi issues, the hotel, location and my stay was good. Wi-Fi system need to be upgraded and changed from a public setting to private network to allow for business use because most company devices are restricted to private networks for security reasons.

Clean and spacious room | Reception staff was friendly and helpful; Overnight staff is security guards only, thus, it’s a bit challenging to communicate in English as the guard only understands French - however, we made use of Translation to help successfully. | Lift was out of service the 1st morning since we moved in and was still not working for the rest of our trips (5 days), which made customers hard to carry luggage/ walk back to the rooms.

10/10 Exceptional

The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff more than makes up for the slightly outdated bathrooms and less than inspiring surroundings. Very clean modern rooms with lots of space. A bit too far to walk to old town, so you’ll need to transit or ride. Parking here is difficult if you don’t purchase a spot. Grocery store next door is a plus. The savings can be worth it if you know all this going in.

4/10 Fair

The worst part of the hotel was the smell in the room. We spoke to the staff but they did not help to fix it or move us to a non smelly room. It's on a busy road and is loud but we always bring ear buds to help so this wasn't too much of a problem for us. It was actually quite clean in the hotel. The pillows were quite uncomfortable. Location is fine, not far from the tram which takes you to the centre and a decent supermarket and bakery very close by.
