Cedar Falls is a surprisingly robust community and the Blackhawk Hotel is a hidden gem! The staff is engaging and generous and go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of and heard. This is an historic inn, so the premises are burnished with years of use, which I think just adds to its charm. Main Street is dotted with several unique eating, drinking and shopping establishments and our nightcap at the Bar Winslow in the hotel was the perfect spot for our too-short stay in Cedar Falls.

We absolutely loved this hotel! Tasteful decor, comfortable bed, lovely "old hotel" ambience throughout. Friendly and welcoming staff, nice coffee and pastries in the library and located right along the fun and interesting downtown. There is a free parking lot just around the corner. We'd love to come back and will stay here again!
