6/10 Good

Ideal location for the conference creature. Room very basic with limited coffee/tea/ milk. No soap in the shower. TV couldn’t get to work. But I did enjoy my stay.

8/10 Very good

Hospitable and cozy

It was great; we’ll stay there again next visit. It was very convenient to the beach and town center.

The room is not the same as the one advertised on their website. The TV was broken, the room was dirty (I found receipts from June this year, snack bags under the furniture, the beds were on bricks, mould in places, not very clean bed linen, the walls were dirty, expired milk). We do not recommend this location!

there was no toilet paper when I arrived the kettle didn't work there was no curtain for the window when I spoke to the manager on she said the curtain would be fixed it was NOT she did send a new kettle & on monday the power to all the scockets went off twice so I had to go down 4 flights to report it

6/10 Good

Host is very pleasant, has a wealth of local knowledge. The room was a good size for a family. Wifi worked well. The cleaning can be improved by ensuring the floor is swept of sand (probably left by previous guest) and the kettle and cups could do with a scrub.

Saturday stay

Our room was a nice size for 3 of us, the beds had random feet on them, pieces of wood glued together.. little things 1 toilet roll , the tv didnt work, the shower doors we falling off, no shower gel ; etc provided, the toilet seat was loose and kept moving, the sink was dirty under the rim..no matching furniture in the room, under the cabinets dirty found a random piece of wood, only 2 cups when 3 off us stayed, so not enough tea , coffee etc..a old mattress, and other rubbish left at the back of the carpark, in full view..the fire exit door was very hard to open, used for a smoking area..people unfortunately moaning about their stay in reception, when we arrived and left .

Stay away

When checking into the hotel we were made aware the bar and the restaurant were both shut. The room was disgustingly dirty, with splashes of something all up the walls and the floors clearly hadn't been cleaned in months. In the middle of the night, we were woken by a man barging into the room to 'check the smoke alarm' woke both kids up and with no apology at all! The general condition of the property was awful and we would not be staying again.

2/10 Poor

False Advertising and Unsafe Stay

The room we were given was completely different from the one advertised. It was in extremely poor condition — dirty, unpleasantly smelly, and poorly ventilated with only a very small window and a single small fan, which was inadequate for four people. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and the overall condition of the room was unacceptable, with exposed electrical wiring visible on the walls. The bathroom was also in disrepair, with a broken door handle and a blocked shower drain. Additionally, rubbish was left on the stairs outside the hotel entrance, and during the late evening, individuals were seen rummaging through it. This created a sense of insecurity and made us feel unsafe during our stay.

Totally avoid..

It is a very basic hotel.. no housekeeping at all.. smells of damp. Bed was very uncomfortable.. could hear people talking all night. Pay little extra and get a better hotel and service.

Cheap n cheerful

A real mix of ok and could do better.. Lovely chap on reception who gave a overview of Dorset and sandbanks. The room had a few issues TV remote missing No towels Window opens fully to a flat roof with staircase so not secure But Beds were ok and room was warm but it was the hottest day of the year Shower leaked Plugs had a smell of drains It was a good location and parking was free It worked for one night as a cheap stay over.

Price good but a little lacking

I arrived with a business colleague and we had two rooms. Rooms were acceptable with main complaint that Hot Water was not 'hot'. Had to Shower in warm water at 06:45am!! Not pleasant, also wanted to use the Tea Making facilities and once tea was made in cup realised that there was no milk!! Left cup full of black tea in the hope that the room maid would realise and not have a repeat for next guest. Breakfast was fine.

Appalling cleaning conditions and customer service

I can't still decide what was worst, the cleanliness or the customer service. My standards were already not that high (I've been to many hotels in Bournemouth and you can't expect much when you opt for locally owned hotel), however when at the checkout I've been asked how was my stay and pointed out that the place needed a good cleaning the owner got aggressive. I am attaching a picture of the shower where you can clearly see some melted soap bar with hairs in it. This place needs a good inspection from health authorities!

Not the best but for 2star you cant exoect too much. Holes in the wall, Shower tray that didnt drain. But Man on desk friendly and room was clean

Dont waste your money!

I know its not 5* but you still expect a clean room and bedding! Room was dirty... coffee stains on side... steins all over carpet and cabinet Bedding had marks on it Curtains didnt close Tv lost signal constantly When i addressed this with the owner i was told it wasnt unclean because they had checked when no one had been to look Was very rude to me

6/10 Good

Not enough parking slots, staff not available all the time.
Daljit, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was a good size. The pillow cases had marks/stains on them so slept in the other double bed. The tv wasn’t working, and shower was very small. The wardrobe was decent size but if your staying a few days to a week more hangers for you clothes would’ve been better. My room was on the top floor which was around 2-3 flights of stairs so carrying my suitcase up those was tough, there was a lift but wasn’t working.
Klarna, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Good reception mr jerry. The beds could do with better quality without attached headboard. We stayed for 2 nights and the bins where not taken out. As good will gesture should give shower gel or soup.

6/10 Good

We see the reviews and really took a risk as there was not many good ones.when we arrived the hotel does look a little tired it needs a little love and attention to detail but we was pleasantly surprised with our room it was airy and clean and that was our main concern.also we got a up grade so that was a bonus for the price you can’t go wrong tbf everything is near so that’s always a bonus 👍
Tony, 2-night trip
