A tale of two cities unfolds at this unique border town, where American and Mexican cultures blend seamlessly across the international line. The historic Santa Cruz County Courthouse, now transformed into the Pimeria Alta Museum, showcases local heritage with unexpected charm. Cross into Mexico for vibrant markets filled with handicrafts and the tantalizing aroma of street tacos. Very comfortable rooms with wonderful local decor! Garden area a very quiet and beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors, including an outdoor fireplace. Finishing touch is the breakfast basket delivered to your door in the morning!
Visually and mentally, a treat for the senses. A great, peaceful getaway for the weekend from Phoenix. Rustic, southwestern charm. Warm, helpful, welcoming staff. The Arizona everyone should see, experience. Enjoy your casita, soak in the sound of the fountain from your patio. Dine adjacent to the fairway as cattle graze in the distance, panoric view of mountain and lush Santa Cruz river while sipping a great glass of wine. My favorite place to stay in AZ.
Rancho Santa Cruz was wonderful. It is a very peaceful retreat and I wish the had stayed more than one night. Excellent hiking nearby on the Juan Bautista de Anza trail. The only drawback is the noise from nearby I-19.
Very conveniently located to the border crossing into Mexico. Very comfortable suites: You could live in one of these! It had everything. My only negative comment was the exorbitant amount they charged ($25) for our dog. Had we known it was going to be that much, we would likely have stayed elsewhere. Also could not understand why a big dog costs more than a small one.
Very helpful staff went out of their way to solve a couple problems. Cost competitive. I had a balcony with a mountain view - great sunrises! Pet friendly too.
Staff were wonderful. The evening dinner and happy hour saved me after a long drive. I told my family on base all about it so they send future guests here.
The room was so Beautiful. Had an mountain outlook from the window. Stunning. The harvest moon was Wow!!! The front desk as so helpful, courteous, professional. Helped us with a couple of restaurants, we wanted to try. Gave good directions. Opened the door to the room and I just loved the way it was decorated. Was so spacious. Very clean. The bed was so comfy. I selected so good. No noises. Will recommend and will come back. Thank You for Everything.
This is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, clean, and come with everything you need during your stay. I love this hotel, and will stay there again!
Staff was wonderful. I'm a hotel snob and a clean freak. I travel with disinfectant wipes that's how crazy I get about the hotel rooms.
Let's just say it was clean and I didn't need my wipes.
Will be back to stay again without a doubt.
