We had a good stay overall, mostly thanks to the location. The hotel is perfectly placed—right on Sunrise Beach and only about a 5-minute walk to Walking Street, which made it really easy to explore and still come back to a quieter, scenic spot. The lobby/bar area is especially cozy, with a lovely view overlooking the beach—definitely a nice place to relax. The room was decent, and it was a nice touch that the hotel picked us up directly from the ferry terminal, which made arrival super smooth. That said, there were some downsides. Our room view faced what seemed like a trash/utility area, which wasn’t great. The beds are very hard, and the breakfast was underwhelming compared to expectations. Also, even though the hotel is relatively expensive, the bar adds an additional 10% service charge, which felt a bit surprising. Finally, the biggest frustration was the lack of sun loungers. Guests often reserved them early in the morning and left them unused for hours, and we were only lucky enough to get two loungers on one day. Overall: Amazing location and a nice beachfront atmosphere, but the hard beds, weaker breakfast, extra bar charges, and sun lounger situation took away from the experience.

Awesome hotel right on the best beach of the island. Breakfast buffet was great wih many things to chose from. Staff very friendly and room wa spacious.

Great stay

Great location, lovely staff and a very relaxing few days. My room overlooked the sea and had everything I needed. There were loungers on the beach to use and tea/coffee/water available all day. The food and drink offering was good and breakfast was also good. The pool looked good although I didn’t actually use it as the sea was too inviting! An easy walk to other restaurants and bars either towards Walking Street or along the beach.

Location of hotel is nice, personell is very helpful, service is nice. A/C is very old and loud, beds are not comfortable (hard). No hooks for the towels in the bathroom.

Mosquitoes

Mosquitoes in my room. Many bites when you wake up in the morning. Hard to sleep. Some rooms have mosquito nets over the bed. Mine did not. Exterior door and windows not sealed well, mosquitoes come in through cracks. If you like mosquitoes, then it’s a great place to stay.

OK hotel, old rooms, nice staff but too expensive

Quite expensive for the hotel quality, rooms are ok but not worth the money you pay to stay. Bathrooms not great, very busy hotel. Nice staff and nice breakfast but food and drink prices are very high in the hotel, we went to use the bars at other hotels on the same beach and they were much cheaper. On arrival there was a mix up and we were given a room that had not been cleaned after the previous guests had left, so we were given an alternative room after a short wait. It’s not bad but I wouldn’t chose to stay here again as there are much better places for the same or less money.

The cleaners were not very serious, and spent more time making elephants and swans out of the towels, than cleaning. Cosy pool ! Terrible noisy aircon. We were given one key only, so could chose between a locked door/ hot room to return to, or unlocked/cold room. We were denied an extra key. Asked cleaners to come back in 5 mins, and they didn’t come at all. An almost worn out hotel.

A bit dated and in need of a sprute up. No hand soap in bathroom, only shampoo, conditioner and bath foam. Fantastic beach right outside the hotel and bar. Breakfast is ok, but not great. Only white toast and no bacon as it is a pork-free restaurant. Food is more expensive than elsewhere on the island.

It has a very small beachfront for size of property. Limited Sun chairs very little shade. Too mainly long boats on shore. Hard to swim. Hot food cold at breakfast but has fruit salad and toast.

My wife and i stayed at Anda Resort Koh Lipe in March 2025. Staff were friendly at check-in but that was it. Our room was big, but dark as was the restroom. The television didn't work so had to get another one. That only had one English speaking channel. The remote didn't work properly. Upstairs was noisy from kids running around from other customers Breakfast was terrible. Cold scrabbled eggs in a tub and no one to cook fresh eggs for you. Line up to cook your toast and and not much more to choose from. Best part, scrapping the dishes in front of me at the table from our left overs and staff smoking while working. Awesome!

The resort is pretty outdated, the shower head was caked in sediments and overall super basic cheap looking appliances. Also only one single outlet in the room (and not near the bed). I stayed at idyllic resort next door first (had to change resorts because I extended my stay on the island and there were no rooms left there), and the quality of stay was significantly better at Idyllic. Some examples: 1, When Anda resort figured out I was the only person staying in the room, they look away a set of pillows on the bed (seriously?) 2, They give you a beach towel card that allowed 1 towel a day, and you have to trade in your towel (going upstairs into the lobby to do so) to get the card back—they also charge 2000baht if you lose the plastic towel card. 3, They won’t help you set up the beach chairs (minor annoyance but idyllic helps and also helps you set up an umbrella) . Anda pros: 1, I had the beach front villa so the saving grace was the view and the porch was a very nice touch. That alone made the stay memorable. There is only 3 beach front villas so definitely book in advance! 2, The resort looks super cute walking through it. 3, The staff is friendly. 4, There are mosquito nets protecting the bed. 5, Idyllic and Anda are on the far side of sunrise beach so there aren’t as many boats parked in front of the beach as the other resorts.

Wir hatten ein Häuschen mit seitlichem Meerblick fast ganz vorne! Wir würden empfehlen nur diese zu nehmen, da kommt echte Urlaubsstimmung auf. Es hat alles geklappt und man hat kurze Wege zum Essen und Strand. Die Aussicht aufs Meer beim Frühstücken ist unbezahlbar! Ein Spaziergang zum Nordpoint am Strand entlang ist wunderschön. Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Würden wieder dorthin fahren!

Smukt men crowded

Ingen tvivl om at det er en smuk strand lige uden for døren her... Dog en strand med meget trafik af mennesker og longtails boats, der tager lidt af Bounty stemningen. Boede i deres dyreste bungalow direkte ud til vandet... Smukt... På billederne ser det meget idyllisk ud, og det er der også, men der er noget mere gang i stranden lige uden for vinduet end billederne viser.

Vi bodde på Anda i 17dagar, det var bra. Men några saker var sådär.. Frukosten var kall, trots att vi var där vid öppningsdag. Saknade bacon. Det fanns för få solstolar, var tvungen att passa stolarna för att få några. Sen så städades rummet alldeles för sent 4-5pm, det kunde ha gjort tidigare. Vill inte ha städbesök när man duschar efter en dag på stranden.

La chambre 217 était top pour notre séjour en amoureux, un peu en hauteur et sans vis à vis . Piscine parfois rempli de petits enfants très agités !! Petit déjeuner correct mais parfois bruyant avec les enfants des autres ! Hôtel idéal si vous êtes en famille avec des enfants en bas âge. Un peu moins cool si vous recherchez la tranquillité en couple comme nous. Néanmoins vous pouvez faire du Snorkeling juste en face. Kayak à payer en supplément, dommage.. Pas d'éclairage au dessus du lavabo... Plage privée avec transat pris d'assaut dès 8h ! Nous avons préféré en profiter un peu plus loin à 'lEst 😉. Un bon hôtel malgré tout ! Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour.
