Lovely room with pleasant colours and a VERY R!! A hook in the bathroom was broken with jagged metal edges jutting out, and there were no hangers in the room when I arrived. The staff were really sweet and helpful and got some for me after I asked in the reception.

I think I've seen different people at the reception every time I went to this hotel, but each and every one is just as nice and helpful. The included breakfast and dinner are also great. So many different things to choose from and all delicious. I love going here.

Perfect location, good parking

It's a very nice hotel. Close the the city centre. I always live the breakfast. I usually go on national holidays, in which case they don't serve evening food. The rooms are basic, but spacious enough with large windows overlooking the city. I love coming back here. They have lots of different staff, and they've all been very friendly.

Always perfect and well organised

A quick and friendly check-in. The room was spotless. I had not counted on a free evening meal, but it was very good. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of different things, including Norwegian options. Very nice!

Served an evening meal as part of room rate. No complaints as the food was good. Best to get down early as the heat lamps don't keep the food as warm as I like. However it was still good. Only thing missing was hot chocolate. :-)

We stayed one night and had opted for a Premium room. The hotel has a nice lobby with a Mid Century vibe (nice set of vintage Fritz Hansen chairs). Staff was welcoming and check in was easy as we had prepaid. Our corner room was the largest we had during our trip to Norway. We also were excited that it had a bathtub! The hotel has an interesting history. There was a great breakfast buffet and surprisingly, a buffet dinner was also included. It seemed the hotel was housing some workers with a local factory and breakfast and dinner was part of the “deal”. So all the guests benefited. We were first worried about noise, but there was no issues as they were up early. Porsgrunn is a nice town on a river, with an interesting history as the center of Norwegian porcelain production. It is also the base for people interested in renting boats to explore the river and canals. We found it a surprise and glad we spent some time there.

Fine rom. Ekstremt lytt fra gangen. Når noen gikk og snakket på utsiden var det som de var inne på rommet så lytt var der. Døren ble også smelt ganske hardt i da det var vanskelig å dempe lukkingen. God frokost og hyggelig personale

Vi kom og have bestilt en standard og blev glade da hun havde opgraderet os til supioir værelset og tænkte luksus 🙈men til 1100 kr for en overnatning men et toilet bor alt stank af kloark og gik igennem ind i soveværelset . Puha det var slemt og så kan vinduet ikke lukkes ude i badeværelset . Syg syg koldt og alt så gammelt også vinduerne og bankerne og det var døde fluer i vinduerne og karmene og lugtede surt på værelserne . Ej det er ikke pengene værd! Var lidt chokket over det . Den gratis aftensmad smagte af ingenting og en gang pladder mad og stået i lang tid og blevet kold . Puha altså ikke godt Det bedste var morgen mad og det var meget at vælge imellem og god kaffe .

Jeg fikk et oppgradert rom, men dessverre så var det ikke helt i orden. Resepsjonisten ordnet meg øyeblikkelig et mye bedre rom, og sa de ønsket at jeg skulle ha det så bra som mulig. Det nye rommet var nyoppusset, svært romslig med badekar. Helt perfekt. Kveldsmaten er kjempegod og helt gratis. Veldig hyggelig hotell og topp personale.

Bra hotell for pengene! Resepsjon, lobby og spisesal var fresht og moderne. Rommet litt slitt, og ganske lytt pga gamle vinduer og dører. Men rent og pent! Veldig hyggelig resepsjonist:-) Deilig frokost, afternoon snack og varm kveldsmat inkludert, samt gratis parkering rett på baksiden.
