We had a fantastic stay at the Silver Beach. The ONLY reason we did not give 5 stars is because the new owners are clearly in the middle of updating what seemed like it had been a pretty run down property. Perfect location. Room was great. We had a wonderful time. If they continue to update the property, it will be perfect as far as it being well maintained also.

Rooms are beautiful, breakfast very good. Needed herbal or caffeine free tea- Beds very comfortable. Hallways are drab and outdated- could use refreshing. Good location.

Enjoyed our stay. The town was very “rad” according to the kids- hotel was walkable to all main shopping and close to beach!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They were happy to recommend places to visit and things to do in the area, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bar and restaurant were exceptional. The waitstaff and bartender were so friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We had such a wonderful time enjoying the bar and restaurant and meeting everyone there. The atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and made our stay even more memorable. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely stay here again. The wonderful staff truly made all the difference!

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach and shops. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean but that's about all I can say about it. It had worn down furniture, a fuzzy TV and just generally needed a refresh, as do the hallways. I paid around 200 dollars and felt it was really about an 80 dollar stay. Basically, you're paying for the location here.

Excellent location! Hotel is dated but clean. Breakfast isn’t ample in choices. All in all, a perfect place to stay when visiting the area if you aren’t looking for anything fancy, but clean and convenient

The stay was great. We rented a two bedroom room with Lake view. There wasn't a door between the 2 rooms. We were traveling with another couple so this wasn't so comfortable. It did have two private bathrooms which helped. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of variety to choose from.

It was fine. Rooms are clean. Walls are very thin though, could hear room next to us full conversation.

Silver Beach is an amazing location. Very close to downtown St Joseph. The inside of the hotel is very old and outdated. The hallways were dark and the carpet was old and stained. The Front desk staff was very nice and helpful

This hotel has a great location - walkable to downtown St Joseph, Silver County Beach, etc. Each room has a balcony that is great for hanging wet beach towels, etc. and for getting a view of the town if you are on an upper floor.
