I had a wonderful stay, in large part because I was able to secure a room on a high floor, where the view over the park is spectacular. The rooms on the lower floors are a bit noisier and do not have such great views. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating and the neighborhood was lovely. I will definitely book here when I next return to Perth.
Beautiful room, we loved the balcony overlooking the marina and bathtub! One issue we had which was a bit of a bummer is the hotel lost power about an hour into our stay, so we spent the rest of the night in the dark because we were offered either just stay with no power and no refund, or leave to go somewhere else with a refund, but there were no other places available that late in the day.

This is a relatively new, beautifully furnished hotel in a central location on the Swan River next to the University of Western Australia (UWA). Our room faced the river, had a nice balcony, well-designed space, plenty of storage, and a nice large bathroom. The open-air hallways in our wing provided plenty of fresh air. Breakfast options were numerous and tasty, though the dining area seemed understaffed over the long Easter weekend. Free access to the UWA gym across the street was a welcome...

Btw a tip for everyone, if you want the ocean view rooms, you MUST pay for the upgrade, is worth it! Or else you won't get it. Hotel is near a nice Boardwalk full of activities and shops. It's a bit far from the city and taxis can be expensive going in to the city. No on site gym but not necessary when you can run along...
The staff is friendly and helpful! The breakfast is delicious and is served by the poolside with sunshine and a golf course. The most amazing thing is the greetings from the kagoroos on the hotel's golf course. The restaurant offers live music and wonderful choices of food. The room is clean and spacious.
