Our room was very nice. Parking was right outside. The property is pretty. Breakfast was good but the hours of breakfast were strict and not convenient for early risers and people with early planned activities. The on-premise restaurant is decent (prices are high).

We had an amazing at this lodge. The property is on a beautiful lake and the nature around the entire property is mind blowing. The owners of the property are great and the food served there was also wonderful. We highly recommend this property to anything going towards Seward.

Very comfortable. Very clean. Great towels! Free breakfast outstanding. Beautiful area centrally located between Anchorage and Seward. All side trips they booked for us came off without a hitch. Restaurant and service were excellent. Beds very comfy. Everyone bent over backwards to see we were happy and cared for. Highly recommend!

Summit Lake Lodge was a good choice for us. The individual log cabins are quaint but also spacious. The room was well equipped with an en-suite shower room, fridge, A/C and extra vanity area. The wooded setting however makes the room quite dark and the little balcony had no outdoor seating. Breakfast was included in the room charge but unfortunately they do not cater for food intolerances- I am celiac so I could have only eggs. The coffee shop also had no gluten free pastry options. One negative on the coffee shop was the state of the decking- the legs of the bar stools could pass through the space between the planks - my stool fell over as I sat onto it & I fell to the ground. This certainly needs looked at or at worst a warning poster to be careful. That said the Lodge is on a beautiful setting on the edge of the lake. The staff were friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay at Summit lake Lodge.

Such an amazing place. The staff, food, and proximity to wildlife/wilderness are all outstanding. Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile. A special thanks to Brandon and Lindsey for making it a very memorable trip for my entire family.

Fantastic Place to Stay in Alaska

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay with Summit Lake Lodge. The owners/family, Marty, June, Brandon & Lyndsey made us fill so much like we were at home away from home. Great breakfast, atmosphere and above all terrific customer service from all employees/staff. We highly recommend this Lodge to anyone traveling in Alaska!

Summit Lake Lodge is a beautiful place to stay! Surrounded by beautiful grounds and a pristine Lake. It is so clear you can see through to the bottom and it offers free kayaking! The rooms are very updated but with a rustic feel. The staff is wonderful! It is a family-owned in operated place and it feels very welcoming. The free breakfast in the morning is awesome! It is a full breakfast

Loved this place! Lake view cabin was awesome, staff is great, complimentary cooked to order breakfast is good. Restaurant for evening meal was very good. Location is centrally located for so much of the Kenai peninsula. Would love to come back!!!!!!!!!!! No question as to where we would stay!
