The rooms was very basic but the staff were very friendly and gave excellent service! Gave examples of what to do and how to get there, that little extra that makes you feel welcomed and important 😁

We had a very nice stay in a family room at Wendelsberg. We stayed for 3 nights and had a lot of plans in advance. We could easily have used more days to discover the beautiful surroundings. Hope to come back again. Loved breakfast with different kinds of homemade things ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful and wonderful place to stay

The receptionist was SO friendly and serviceminded. She saw I loved the house and took me upstairs so I could see a magnificent room. The breakfast was fantastic and so many things to choose from. All the food and drink was freshly made. The surroundings outside is beautiful and special. We stayed at the hostel. A great bed and everything was nice and clean. All was quiet and I had a truely great nights sleep. What a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it, just a 15 minutes drive to the city.

Fin miljö

Fin miljö, jättefräscht och rent, sköna sängar. Härlig miljö i huvudbyggnaden. Till frukosten saknade vi varma rätter som bacon, korv, äggröra och köttbullar. Juicen var inte kyld.

Fantastisk beliggenhet, mye sjarm og historie. Servicevennlig betjening, meget godt renhold på rommet. Frokosten var veldig bra. Helt topp sted til en hyggelig pris. Tror sengene var ganske nye, de var veldig gode.

Verkligen sevärt slott, så mycket detaljer, man känner historiens vingslag. Tillsammans med att det är en folkskola med elever som har undervisning där gjorde att det kändes som om man hamnat på Hogwarts skola med Harry Potter!

Vacker miljö och prisvärt

Väldigt rent och fräscht i tillbyggnaden. Träslottet är helt unikt och en sevärdhet i sig. Frukosten kostar 125 per dag men har mycket mer på helgen att välja på.

Boende över förväntan.

Stannade en natt här pga sporttävling i närheten. Väldigt mycket över förväntan! Visst, det är en folkhögskola och det känns som det också men fina, funktionella rum och tillgång till ett fräscht, fullt utrustat kök var perfekt för oss som behövde preppa lunch till nästkommande dag. Vi han inte med att äta frukost men våra vänner som gjorde det sa att den var väldigt bra så synd att vi missade den.

Jättedålig, rekommenderar ej

Kunde knappt röra mig normalt i rummet pga dålig isolering och grannarna var så hemskt otrevliga. Ville inte ens att vi ska röra oss eller göra ett enda ljud. Så fort jag försökte stänga dörren så börjar hen skrika eftersom dörren lät lite högt!

Missvisande annonsering

Trodde jag skulle bo på en herrgård utifrån bilderna på hotellet, istället hänvisas man till enklare boende (hostel) som ligger i en byggnad 500m längre bort vilket var en liten besvikelse. Området är väldigt fint och priset var helt okej. Personalen var mycket trevliga.

Underbart ställe i 1800-talsmiljö

Fantastiskt ställe på toppen av ett litet berg omgiven av en vacker parkmiljö. Själva huvudbyggnaden är ett 1800-tals mansion i trä med massor av vackra detaljer. I själva annexet med gästrummen är det modern standard. Mycket fin frukost med massor av valmöjligheter, bl.a. hembakat bröd, våfflor.och havregrynsgröt. Lätt att ta sig till Göteborg, promenadavstånd till buss som går varje kvart och tar c:a 15 minuter. Enda minus är att dubbelsängarna är något smala, samt att det saknas AC.

Utmerket vandrehjem

Vi tilbrakte en natt her i hyggelige og rolige omgivelser. Hotellet ligger i et fint opparbeidet naturområde og er vel verdt et besøk. Vi hadde bestilt et enkelt fanilierom. Standarden var enkel, men helt fin for en natt. God frokost ble servert i hotellets hovedbygning.

Gemytligt och bra övernattningsalternativ.

Wendelsberg har en intressant historia och ligger i en fin avkopplande miljö. Rummet var enkelt men funktionellt och köket på vandrarhemmet var rent och fräscht och oväntat trevligt. Det finns bord på bakgården man kan äta middag eller frukost. Det och gratis gästparkering gör det här till ett bra alternativ för den som vill besöka Göteborg men som inte har behov för att bo mitt i stan. Expressbussen tar 5 minuter att gå till och tar bara 15-20 minuter till Göteborg centrum. Ett bra val för familjer eller för den som reser ensam.
