Can’t complain for the price, warm room, clean comfy bed and good location

Would stay again.

Great value for money. Perfect for a couple of nights in chippenham. It has everything all the other places i've stayed in with the added bonus of a fridge. Would stay here again.

2/10 Poor

Like the price.The rest horrible
Carla Marina, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Over all it was ok for a night stay, I think if the rooms/building were updated it would of been a lot nicer. Parking is at the back of the building and very tight to get to so if you have a large car you might need to find alternative parking.
Emma, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The place looked like it shouldn’t have been open. There was no one on the front desk. We waited around for 30min couldn’t find anyone. So we moved on and found a much better place
Neville, 1-night trip

Not at all bad

Good location, close to town centre, train station, limited of road parking which was very useful, could definitely do with a referb but was generally clean and tidy with a comfy bed, the chap who booked me in was friendly and helpful, value for money was excellent £31.50 for a double ensuite room.
Timothy, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The host was nice, however the condition of the hotel is horrendous. The whole place needs a refurb. Everything was dirty/falling off
benjamin, 2-night trip

Very bad place

Dirty hotel, looks like a place with asylum seekers because almost nobody spoke English there, just the manager who was very friendly. After the first night breakfast was late an very poor. When we arrived back the same evening, the fire department was there closing the place down because fire hazzard. The manager booked us to another hotel for the resting 4 night, was a lot better, so I was happy they had to close. Do not the photo's fool you, you do not want to stay there.
Rob, 5-night trip

Don’t stay here!

It was shocking. The only good thing going for it was the man who worked there. He was lovely and helped us locate the place. The place however, was absolutely disgusting. It was filthy and absolutely grim. The toilet was all brown, the air vent in the shower was filthy, the shower ended up becoming a bath in the space of 2 minutes, anything we put on the side tables, slid back off because nothing was level. The window had a huge crack in it so we couldn’t close it. There was stains on the bed sheets. A toaster would’ve been comfier to sleep on. Overall it was a disaster. I don’t recommend staying here unless you want to catch aids from the room.

Avoid at all costs would never stay again

This place was not worth anywhere near the £47 we paid would have had a better night sleep in the car the shower temperature gauge was held on by a half way in screw so if you stood to close you would catch your self on it and you had to stand close as was not a lot of room the shower door might as well not even been there as would not close and if you managed to close it felt like it was going to fall off it's runners in your hand the tv was so small you had to strain your eyes to even see it and everytime you want to change the channel or volume you had to get out of bed at the remote did not work could feel the springs in the mattress sticking out like they had snapped the sink that was in the room not the bathroom had a sort of orange yellow scum round it and not enough plug sockets and they all seem to be one side of the room marks on the bedding as soon as we walked in the paint was falling off the walls as well no information about what time breakfast was or anything like that all round would say avoid at all costs would not recommend to anyone would go as far as saying need to be shut down
Rickie, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

No stay, but that was because the hosts didn’t come to reception after I’d read the sign and pressed both doorbells. I’d messaged twice in the previous week with no reply. And when I found i couldn’t get my car into their car park I was really needing some basic advice, but not one answered my repeated calls. If you’re not confident that Chippenham will have availability elsewhere, book somewhere else in advance.

2/10 Poor

What a terrible place and staff useless
Amanda, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Decor is tired and dated. Bed linen, surfaces and crockery was clean but the stair carpets were very worn and room corners and skirting very dusty and grubby. Toilets need a good clean round the bend but seats were clean. Cooked breakfast good but only 2 cereals to choose from, no choice or brown or white toast and no tea available at breakfast. Only saw on member of staff who was lovely and very helpful. However, it was a budget price and we had all we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Price reflected our experience
Gina, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The location of the hotel was good, as it's an easy walk to town centre. However, the hotel looks like it has been abandoned for years: black cobwebs at the entrance, no receptionist to greet, the toilet bowl of my room was browner than chocolate (bleaching it everyday will help to remove that), very soft bed (it should be medium firm mattress to accomodate the comfort of all kind of travellers), who puts a tv behind the door?, shower gel should be replaced everyday, not used from years ago (bottle was dirty and the handgel had been diluted with water). An investment in a general irefurbishment is what the hotel needs.

We never did stay here, we were dissapointed at the state of the front of the property, dirty, littered and in need of decorating. Inside was filthy and desperately in need of DIY. We left and stayed elsewhere.
