Good Value, True Brooklyn Experience

The front desk staff were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. Water filter machine downstairs was great, microwaves for use. Super easy walk to the subway station. Food options abound in the neighborhood.

We were a little nervous based on other reviews, but our stay was good! The room was clean, there was A/C, the bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient and safe. This hotel is pretty bare bones, but if you are looking for an affordable, no-frills place to stay, this does the trick.

The hotel is in a good location for public transportation. The room said non-smoking but someone had definitely been smoking in the room. There are some good restaurants within walking distance.

A good bang for the buck stat

Came in town for a scientific meeting and was looking for something not breaking the bank. True it is outside Manhattan, but it was a great experience seeing a piece of Brooklyn, with the lines M and J easily accessible to reach Manhattan. The only caveat I had was about the pillows. They are extra hard, a soft pillow would have been welcomed.

The pillows were comfy and the location was central to lots of places to eat and see. There were hairs in the shower. Floor was dirty. No garbage sack in the garbage can. No garbage can in the bathroom. Worn down and just kinda gross. Also, could hear everything out into the hallway.
