Great hotel

Friendly welcome, lovely room, really old world style. Probably not suitable for really tall people , but for us it was great. Ate dinner in hotel, food really good and tasty. Bar area nice , staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast nice.

Great stay, room, service and food. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Dinner in the restaurant, service and food very high quality. The Inn is full of original features, watch your head if you’re tall :-)

A beautiful Pub Hotel

It’s a very peaceful Hampshire village with a good ambience and a historic pub that rents out six rooms that are full of character. There are nice touches like slippers and bathrobes provided along with an Nespresso machine and a good smart TV. Also, excellent bath salts etc to make your stay enchanting. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and made with the best artisan produce. All in all highly recommended.

Fabulous Historical Inn

My husband and I went for a Friday to Sunday weekend break. We had a wonderful time. The staff were amazing all so friendly, welcoming and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was beautiful and so cosy. The food and drink were excellent. We enjoyed it so much we cannot wait to return for another visit.

Lovely Sunday night stay at a charming Inn. The staff were very polite and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room was a little hot but there was a Dyson fan which worked well. In the bedroom were Coffee and tea making facilities and an iron and ironing board. There was no wardrobe but there was a hanging rail ( definitely ok for an overnight stay). I took my own hairdryer and didn’t see one in the room. Plenty of plugs available and a large TV. The bed was comfortable and bedding and towels clean. The bathroom was more than adequate with a large shower and shampoo and body wash provided. Breakfast had a good continental selection and a choice of hot breakfasts. It was very tasty .. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate in coming back .

Nice room , check in messy - you have it wait for the bar staff to become free . Breakfast disappointing and under cooked - no one in the breakfast area to raise this with ! . Nothing on the buffet was topped up and took over half hour to be offered coffee and for the order to be taken . Comfy quiet room but improvements are needed.
