This place is amazing. I would have given 5 stars but the beds were very uncomfortable. We switched rooms to an upgraded sweet because we decided to stay an extra day. The bed in the upgrade was even more uncomfortable I could feel the springs on my back it felt like a motel 6 bed. My back is still soar from those beds. Hopefully they upgrade the mattresses because we would love to go back and make it a yearly relaxation vacation.

Great location and so close to the beach. Very friendly staff. Loved how they are well stocked with all the beach gear- boogie boards, chairs, toys and towels..the resort is itself very charming .. love the bonfires every evening..

Beautiful location but not directly at the beach. There is a street in between. Staff is super unfriendly. Breakfast is a joke. Overall too expensive for what you get.

This is absolutely our favorite place to stay. I’m from San Diego and we love to visit Carlsbad for the beach, food and shopping. The staff is amazing, the rooms are so clean and the murals in each room are different and colorful. The pool/spa area is so nice and so many places to just sit quietly and read. Definitely a 10 in our books for places to stay.

The property location was awesome, walking distance to the beach and restaurants, close to LegoLand. The room was great, grounds were well kept and the outdoor furniture was very clean, as was the pool. The staff was also awesome!
